My Gift to Neighbors

Every year I make fudge for friends and family for Christmas. I've been doing this for as long as I have lived in Colorado; sending packages home to family in Wisconsin. I'd like to share my recipe with you since it is liked so well by those I make it for.

Milk Chocolate Fudge

Milk Choclate Fudge

3/4 c. - butter

3 c. - sugar

2/3 c. - evaporated milk

1 - 7oz. jar marshmallow cream

1 tsp. - vanilla

12 oz. bag milk chocolate chips

12 oz. bag toffee pieces

Combine butter, sugar and milk in a saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil until mixture reaches 222 degrees, using a candy thermometer.
Remove from heat and stir in marshmallow cream and vanilla. Mix completely adding choclate chips and toffee. Pour into a 13x9" waxed paper lined pan and cool completely.

Variations

I made this recipe yesterday, using white chocolate chips and it turned out awesome!
