With exploding off the charts it's hard not to notice. Then when you see the companies with 6 digit feedback ratings in the mix, what are you to think? It seems almost unattainable to reach that mark and to stand on level playing ground with such fierce competitors, such as this store.
Such thinking is wrong and unfounded. It is possible to turn your weekend hobby into something more without too much effort. Although i must warn you, if you want to make this into income you can live on alone rather than some mad money, you will have to invest a hefty amount of time and effort. Following is some of the same information that other sellers on and off ebay charge for. I'm summarizing a bit. So here goes...

What you can do now to beef your feedback

Go to My ebay and click thru all transactions, verify that you've received & given all appropriate feedback. If not, send a nice note and get it done.
deposit $10 in your paypal account and go shopping. Purchase every 1 cent Buy It Now item on eBay you can find. This is tedious, but easy. 1 cent = 1 positive feedback, so $1=100 and $10=10000

go to a website such as www.heygidday.com and download free ebooks to sell on ebay. make sure you have resell rights, otherwise you're violating copyright. make sure to list it for a longer amount of time, at a low price and high quantity. you can even automate feedback!
clean out the closet and start the grunt work. yeah it takes elbow grease, but it's worth it. and spring cleaning is good all year!
make sure you're a prompt and curteous ebayer all round. this way you'll get more personal & specific feedback. you could even include a pack of hot chocolate and thank you note with each purchase. or similar
join an affiliate network and sell other people's products. very difficult, i must say. i still haven't found the right company for me. read all the fine print and terms of service, there are tons of scam artists out there!
finally, just have fun and be creative! there are tons of possibilities. and if need be, it's not illegal to gain inspiration from others! just kick it up a notch!
