These serve as good bases for larger hats.To the base hat you can add whatever embellishments and leftover craft items you might have around: ribbons, feathers, flowers, lace, peacock feathers, lace or mesh fabric, beads, mini pearls, skeletons, skull and crossbones, hearts, sequins, jewels and vintage jewelry.
You can also follow the directions in two, two-part video tutorials. The first uses a pudding or jello cup as the base for the hat (so it is smaller), the larger one uses a pattern available on their website.
