Miniature Pinscher, The King Of Toys!

Did you know that Miniature Pinschers originate from Germany and they are often mistakenly called Miniature Doberman or Doberman Pinscher which I think is totally wrong. They are two different breeds of dogs, so if next time someone calls a Min Pin a Miniature Doberman Pinscher, please set them straight. The Miniature Pinscher was first introduced in America around 1925.

I am a proud owner of a Min Pin for about a year now, but I am telling you that this little curious and high energy dog is so lovely that if I had to ever get another dog I will definitely stick with this breed.

  These little dogs are dynamite in a small package, their big attitude can shake up your daily life. You need to e prepared to have an infinite amount of patience though during the first year.

If you are looking for a little dog with a big attitude, then a Miniature Pinscher might be the right kind of dog for you. As with any breed, however, you should know something about these dogs before you purchase one. No matter how cute they are, Miniature Pinschers are not for everyone!

First, many people mistakenly assume that the Miniature Pinscher is a small version of a Doberman Pinscher. While these dogs do resemble Dobermans, they are not the same breed. These dogs are called Pinschers simply because of the way they hunt. In German pinscher means "biter," and these little dogs will jump on and bite their prey when hunting.
