Miracle of Mozart ABCs DVD-Kids DVD Review

Through the Miracle of Mozart ABCs DVD, children take an adventurous journey on their alphabet train through exciting locations. Through the train journey, they hear children iterate each alphabet one at a time, with great clarity and time lapse. They do not rush through it and repeat it several times as they ride their journey. At times the child is also given a chance to say out the alphabets as they pop on the television screen slowly and in sequence.

Let us now see where this exciting journey takes the alphabets and our excited child as they learn their alphabets while having fun.

The alphabets first get loaded onto the alphabet train one letter at a time. The train then begins the journey of learning abc's along to the farm during which the soothing tune of the abc song is playing as each letter travels along on this train ride. At the farm, these alphabets jump off the fields one at a time, with nice children stating the alphabet as they come out. Meanwhile, soothing Mozart music is playing in the background, enticing toddlers who are eagerly learning their alphabets. This sequence takes place again, except now the children do not tell out the letters anymore. This gives the children a chance to show their progress and say the alphabets out loud and feel proud that they are learning their abcs. This routine is then repeated all over again. Remember repetition helps reinforced the alphabets into your toddlers and preschoolers.

Where does the Alphabet Train take us to next?

The journey then goes on to the lake, again with the tune of ABCs, allowing children to enjoy the alphabet song again as they approach the lake. Here the alphabets go across the television as they travel on a boat up and down the lake. Once again, the entire alphabet series is repeated at the lake, to reinforce each and every alphabet to the tender minds of our toddlers.

The alphabet train then rides along to the factory where each and every alphabet gets painted on before they go to town and parade themselves on the alphabet train.

Throughout the learning video, teaching abcs to toddlers is made easier and more fun through fun colors, repetition and with voices of children just like themselves.

A child does not raise himself. It is the core responsibility of his parents and adult well wishers to impart knowledge onto them. It is up to us as parents to make learning fun for them when they are toddlers.

Sometime last year I read this article accusing great companies that create infant learning CDs of making false claims that these CDs could teach children under 2 basic skills like alphabets, shapes and colors. They literally claimed that it was not possible for a child to grasp such concepts-and certainly not with the help of these learning DVDs. It would be an understatement to say that this simply angered me.

Till now, the mother in me is eternally grateful for these tools as they have given me a wonderful opportunity to make learning fun for my own toddler. And they are called false claims??!? How could that be? I simply loved these learning tools and saw them benefit many children including my own. There must be something wrong.

Determined to investigate this matter further, I went on reading other forums, articles and blogs and was shocked with what i realized. Parents were using these DVD programs as babysitters. There are parents out there who were merely turning the DVD on and sneaking off to get some work done.

While it's understandable why any parent would need to do this from time to time, they should certainly understand that this child would probably not be able to learn on his own at such a young age. The most effective way to inculcate knowledge through wonderful alphabet learning tools such as the Miracle of Mozart ABCs DVD is to actually sit with them and watch the program with them. Parental involvement is essential to nurturing learning in a child. Interaction with the toddler during the show would help them learn their alphabets even faster. The child need to be guided to see each and every skill that this DVD could be imparting on them.

I am not saying that a parent should spend each and every living minute with their child. I know that is utterly impossible. But what I am gently suggesting is that they should be proactive if they wish to educate thier child using learning tools such as this alphabets learning video. They should not be undervaluing the quality of such great learning tools without using them in appropriate manners. Atleast in the beginning, children would only benefit if they are guided through the different segments of this wonderful learning resource.
