Priestess of the Moon

She's one of the heroes where player skill is far more important than her attributes. A generally weak hero, in comparison to some of the others, Mirana and her frostsaber tiger are a deadly duo in the right hands. Her abilities include being able to jump into (or out of) battle, snipe with a long range stunning attack, and be able to turn her entire team invisible at will.

Abilities

Area of Effect nuke: Starfall
Deals damage to everyone near the priestess as stars rain down from above.

Teleportation: Leap
Sends Mirana flying forward a bit, also gives temporary buffs to speed.

Ultimate Buff: Moonlight Shadow
Everyone on your DotA team will be turned invisible for a short period of time. This skill is excellent for both setting up a gank/ambush, and escaping some done by your enemies.

Nuke: Elune's Arrow
An arrow slowly flies in the target direction, stunning and damaging anything it might hit.

Item Build

I usually start off with boots and a few items that'll be made into a wraith band (if DotA is in easy mode), or a wraith band and buying a couple twigs. The extra attribute points are really useful at the start of the game. Coupled with some good player skills you might walk away with an easy first blood, especially if your enemies thought to save up for silly items.

    my item build for mirana is:
    First i buy an empty b0ttle (i resell it if i d0nt have any space left)
    Then i start buying the requirments of treads
    Then maelstrom
    Sy
    Butterfly
    then MkB
    Then cuirass
    Then i change my treads and i buy travel and my maelstrom to mj0lnir if the game doesnt end but it d0es by the time i get cuirass or MkB

Strategy

Use good judgement and predict the enemy's next move before you fire Elune's Arrow when playing Mirana Nightshade. You can also use it from close distances, or ambush spots, if you aren't good at predicting their next movements.

Mirana shouldn't roam at the beginning of the game, unless you're good. Instead you should pair with your DotA team's worst member and babysit them. Preventing your enemy from getting feed is almost as good as killing them yourself. Later in the game she can go semi-carry to support the rest of your team. However, she shouldn't be the primary carry - many other heroes are much stronger in that role.

    For me my build will be:

    1)power threads
    2)diffusal blade
    3)manta style
    4)butterfly or skadi
    5)assault cuirass

    You would level up the primary damage spells but try not to use them just yet until you have leap because chances are without having leap you’ll simply scare them off with the amount of damage you can do and you wouldn’t be able to chase them down. With leap you can set yourself up to stunning them with javelin to primarily do damage, follow it up with Call and shoot them a few times and as they run away you simply leap, shoot and chase them down.

    Later in the game you would encounter much more group fights so the best option is to unleash a javelin in the general direction of the group fight, hopefully hitting an enemy and stunning them rendering them useless then Calling in the group and start shooting at the enemy your teammates are focused on, hopefully maiming them. As they try to flee you leap and continue shooting and hopefully your call and/or javelin is reloaded so you can use it again. If the situation gets sticky use Level 6 and RUN.

Story of Mirana Nightshade

A matriarch and high priestess of Elune's blessed order, Mirana Nightshade serves as a light in the darkness for the front line of the sentinel ranks, raining arrows and falling stars alike upon the shambling undead masses of the Undead Scourge, while her very presence is said to be so holy that it melts away the fatigue of nearby allies, giving them greater haste on the battlefield. In times of need however, she can fade herself and others around her into the safety of invisibility, making her a potent supporter matched by few.
