Miriam L. Jacobs at a Glance
Inspirational Poet, Author, Nana on a Mission
Miriam L. Jacobs, known to friends as "Inspirational_Mimi", is a fallible child of God who is led to empower others through her gifts for sharing and caring. Born in March 1960, fourth of five children, she learned to use the art of writing to express her thoughts and to explore her feelings.
From a very young age, she felt that she was destined to help people. Animals, plants, children have always held a special place in Miriam's life.
However, her life was filled with one adverse situation after another until she was well into middle age. Although many of these adversities were traumatic, her faith and determination led her out of the gloom of depression, alcoholism and chaos to achieve and succeed.
In 2007, Mrs. Jacobs launched her own independent publishing company, Candalyse Publishing, in order to publish inspirational books. Her favorite quote is "to thine own self be true" and believes that if you have a burning desire to succeed in any endeavor, you will.
