Seminal punk rock outfit The Misfits was formed by Glenn Danzig and Jerry Only in 1977. While officially together, the original Misfits recorded only two studio albums, 1982's Walk Among Us and 1983's Earth A.D./Wolfsblood, however a number of albums, EP's, box sets and compilations of various material have been assembled since.
The so-called "Ressurrected" Misfits, led by Jerry Only, recorded and toured in 1995. Another incarnation, the so-called "25th Anniversary" Misfits, again led by Jerry Only, are currently touring again. For many fans, however, the only true Misfits lineup can be one that includes both Danzig and Only - an outcome which seems unlikely given the two's highly public feud over the years.
