Msnbc Dateline reports that Americans may have over 30 billion dollars of unclaimed property waiting in old bank accounts, stocks, orĀ utility deposits. Think of your relatives who may have safety deposit boxes. Grandmas who have treasure maps for buried mason jars or hidden money in the wall of the old farmhouse.
You can go to Unclaimed Property( National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators) or Missing Money to see if you have any money awaiting for you.
Beware of paid finders. Do your research and you may be one of the lucky ones.
