Understanding Which Areas are Part of Mississauga on the West Toronto Real Estate Board Map

Toronto Skyline

The Toronto Real Estate Board assigns areas of the city by codes; E for East, W for West, N for North and C for Central. South would put you in Lake Ontario, so you won't find "s for south".

This Toronto Real Estate Board West Map outlines all the areas broken down for the West End of Toronto. When you review this map, these are the sections considered part of Mississauga: W12, W13, W14, W15, W16, W17, W18, W19, and W20.

If you had to briefly identify each area by name, the common way Realtors "think" about these areas would be:

W12 Port Credit/Mineola (South East Mississauga: Mineola - Prime Location)
W13 Lorne Park (South West Mississauga: Prime Location)
W14 Applewood Hills (East Mississauga - Sections are Prime Location)
W15 Downtown Mississauga (Central Mississauga - A lot of Condos Here)
W16 Erin Mills (West Mississauga - Sections are Prime Location)
W17 North East Mississauga
W18 North East Mississauga/Airport - Malton
W19 Meadowvale (North Central & North West Mississauga)
W20 Meadowvale (North West Mississauga)

In December of 2010 The City of Mississauga completed a Research Report on the details of Multi-Unit Dwellings.

Multi-Unit dwellings include numerous styles and types, such as Condominiums, Townhomes, Mobile Homes and more. The report outlines what constitutes a Multi-Unit Dwelling.

This Report provides very useful information on mult-unit development that is built, under construction or for which a building permit was issued as of October 31, 2010.

One of the very handy parts of this report is that it provides the total number of Units in each dwelling.
