In December of 2010 The City of Mississauga completed a Research Report on the details of Multi-Unit Dwellings.

Multi-Unit dwellings include numerous styles and types, such as Condominiums, Townhomes, Mobile Homes and more. The report outlines what constitutes a Multi-Unit Dwelling.

This Report provides very useful information on mult-unit development that is built, under construction or for which a building permit was issued as of October 31, 2010.

One of the very handy parts of this report is that it provides the total number of Units in each dwelling.

Mississauga is divided into 34 geographical or planning districts that include residential, commercial and industrial areas.

The Mississauga Growth Forecast estimates population growth from 2008 to 2031 to grow by 12.3% putting the estimated total population in Mississauga in 2031 to approximately 812,000. There was an adjustment made on this forecast, lowering the amount of estimated people in 2031 by approximately 7000.
