Pure Purrfections Handmade Soap

My soaps are made using Cold Process. Made completely from scratch, the oils combine with sodium hydroxide through saponification. You cannot make soap without sodium hydroxide! This is the only ingredient that is not edible, and is required to make a bar of soap. Once the oils come to trace, the fragrances, colorants, herbs and other essential oils are added. After all ingredients are in the mix, the soap is poured into a wood mold and allowed to sit for 24-48 hours. When removed from the mold, the soap has to cure for 3-4 weeks before a solid usable soap bar is obtained.

The soap is then cut, shaped and weighed for the first time. If the bar is not immediately used or sold, the bar will continue to dry out (losing water weight in the meantime) and become a harder bar. Before labeling and listing, the bars will be weighed again to obtain the most accurate weight possible. If timed right, the scraps from shaving are used to make my soap balls (your free samples) or re-batched into "milled" soap where further ingredients can be added. Milled soap is when the pieces are melted down again, ingredients added like oatmeal or honey for example, poured again into the mold and allowed to dry and cure for a few more weeks.

Old Fashioned Castile Handmade Soap
Soothes and refreshes with every bath. For mild, gentle skin care. Great for every skin type. Contains no fragrance oils making it a great camping or hunting soap. Ingredients: Saponified Coconut Essential Oil, Palm Oil, Olive Oil, and Distilled Water.

Peppermint Handmade Soap
Great morning shower soap. Natural fragrance of peppermint blended with the moisturizing properties of Hemp Butter. Ingredients: Saponified Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm oil: Peppermint oil, Tea Tree Essential Oil, Hemp Seed Butter, Cocoa Butter, Crushed Peppermint, Distilled Water. Normal to Oily skin

"Hippie chick" Handmade Soap

"Rosemary Mint" Handmade Soap

"Green Tea" Handmade Soap
Made with natural Green Tea. This is an unscented (except natural scents) bar made with a castile soap base. All skin types. Ingredients: Saponified Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Green Tea, and Distilled Water.

"Coffee House Scrub" Handmade Soap
This is great kitchen soap. Will help remove odors from hands and body. Blended with Shea butter to moisturize. This effective soap contains coffee for exfoliating but does not retain the scent, leaving a basically unscented bar of soap. Ingredients: Saponified Olive Oil, Palm Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Coconut Essential Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Cocoa Butter and Ground Coffee.

"Lavender & Chamomile" Handmade Soap
Intoxicating blend of Lavender essential oil and chamomile tea. Super fatted at trace with Shea Butter and Sweet Almond oil for better absorption into your skin. Try it with an evening shower or bath for a delightful garden escape. For all skin types. "Rescue Me" Eczema Soap
Hand milled soap specifically designed for people with eczema. Soap base of saponified olive, coconut and palm oil. A small amount of pumice is added to help exfoliate dry flaky skin. Neem seed oil and hemp seed butter is added for the healing and soothing of skin. After milling, a touch of Cool Citrus basil is added to mask the scent of the neem seed oil. Normal to very dry skin. Ingredients: Saponified Olive, Coconut, & palm oil. Pumice, neem seed oil, hemp seed butter, Shea butter, distilled water. Normal to very dry skin

A new line of Miss Ruby's Soaps will be out soon. I haven't released any of these yet, but they will be available for purchase very soon. These soaps will still contain most of the same ingredients as the organic line, but have been dressed up with some great oils, colorants and fragrances.

First Kiss Handmade Soap
This is one of my soaps from the new line of Miss Ruby's handmade soaps. This fragrance is so hard to explain! It contains hints of raspberry, blackberry, and fresh strawberries. And touched with just a hint of coconut milk and roses. It will be a bright red/pink in color and it will be a fast favorite! Ingredients: Saponified Olive Oil, Palm Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Coconut oils, Distilled water, Body safe colorant and fragrance.

I have had some great feedback on the soaps. From them being so fragrant that just leaving in the bathroom or closet freshen the whole room with the fragrance, to helping a persistent skin rash go away. I have every confidence that you will enjoy these soaps! Being of organic nature and without additives creates a different type of soap than you may be used to. The soaps may not lather as much, and may visibly be different but they are still working!

The shelf life of an organic soap without preservatives is about a year.

When storing the soaps for use, be sure that they are stored in a well drained area, not in direct water or they can become soggy.

For the best lather, use a washcloth.

My soaps contain several edible ingredients but are FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY!
