About the New World of Warcraft Expansion
Blizzard has recently announced a new World of Warcraft expansion - the Mists of Pandaria. It includes a new race (the Pandaren), new class (Monk), and gives you access to the continent of Pandaria. Furthermore, Mists of Pandaria increases the maximum level cap to 90, adds a Pet Battle system, and offers new Challenge Modes for dungeons. World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria
Travel to the ancient realm of Pandaria and explore its rich lands of lush forests and cloud-reaching mountains. These mysterious lands were shrouded with an impenetrable mist for ten thousand years by the last Emperor of the pandaren, and are unspoiled by war that ravaged Azeroth. Pandaria is home to exotic beasts, as well as the noble race of pandaren which possesses unique unarmed combat skills and racial perks.

New race: play the noble and enigmatic pandaren and enjoy their Racial Traits (stat benefits from food increased by 100%, cooking skill boosted by 15, rested XP bonus lasts twice as long, 50% less falling damage, and Quaking Palm skill that puts enemy to sleep for 3 seconds). Both Horde and Alliance can play a pandaren!

New class: new Monk class harnesses chi energy to achieve mastery in damage, defense, and healing. The Brewmaster talent tree allows them to use beverages and an unpredictable combat style to their advantage! The Monk class is available to other races too.

New lands: explore the vast continent of Pandaria that has been shrouded in mist for 10,000 years! Lots of content for levels 85 to 90 (quests, raids, etc).

Increased level cap: become even more powerful with the level cap raised to 90.

Pet Battle system: train your pets, teach them unique attacks and other abilities, and pit them against other pets in friendly duels. Pokemon fans will enjoy this!

Challenge Mode dungeons: race against time and finish a dungeon as soon as possible for the best grade. The faster you finish, the higher your reward (Gold, Silver, or Bronze medals). All gear will be normalized to keep the challenges fair.

Scenarios: join your friends and guild buddies in epic Scenarios that will challenge your abilities like never before.
- Talents: new and improved Talent system for customizing your character even further.

Pandarian environments seem to be heavily inspired by architecture of Ancient China. The pandarens are wearing Chinese-style clothes and are possibly capable of using Drunken Fist techniques. You can definitely expect some cool martial arts moves from the new Monk class!
