The heart of the mixed media artist is one that asks, I wonder what
would happen if...There is no art material that you don't want to try,
and the most fun is seeing how they can be combined into new forms.
Coloring outside the lines comes naturally to you.

Well, come on in, and meet some like-minded people!

Do you remember...

...making forts when you were a kid? Pasting things into your scrapbook? Making dioramas inside of shoeboxes for school?

And did you love it all?

Then you are already a mixed media artist at heart and just didn't know it! The links below will take you to visit some amazing places where people who have never stopped doing those things have carved out a little piece of cyberspace for themselves.

The sky's the limit when it comes to mixed media. I always think, if I can attach it to something, I can use it. More recently, I have been visiting the hardware store and finding small items suitable to incorporate in a project. This is a great lens

    Hi CyndiL

I am a photographer and I also do some unusual mixed media work. Check out my Squidoo lens Ice Photography. I sculpt ice by melting it using heat and salt, color it with food coloring and take macro photos of the resulting shapes. There are over 300 of these photos on my website - www.mmvphoto.com

Let me know what you think.

    Thanks
