I'm currently working on a series that I'm thinking of calling "Dream Catchers". My first models are formed from copper sheet. Sometimes I hand texture them with various hammers, the rolling mill and other tools. I then pierce and drill a freeform shape, bezel set a turquoise stone and weave sterling wire through the cut out shape to create the dream catcher web. Various patinas are still being played with. So far the series includes Cuffs, Rings and 1 Earring sample. I'd like to work on adding a Pendant, Collar and maybe a Belt Buckle to the series.

The 2 most unusual pieces that I've had commissioned where for a man in Houston who found 2 shark teeth on galveston beach before Hurricane Ike wrecked havoc with the gulf a few years ago. The other piece was commissioned for a local lady who wanted a special charm to mark her best friend's child going off to college. She was searching for bird nests and couldn't find anything she really loved. I made her two small nests from a clay paste syringe that resembled the twigs of a nest. I will gladly incorporate any stones, materials (I do draw the line on some) that are special to you into an original design.
