I love Mary Kay Cosmetics! I love it so much I sell it. But I know what you're thinking, "Do you really use the products?" Here I'll tell you which products I love most and why. These are my personal favorites that I use every day (or almost every day). Some are color, some are skin care but all are fabulous.

MK Signature Eye Primer 

A primed eye is a pretty eye.

This is the first Mary Kay product I fell in love with and I can't imagine life without it. I have combination to oily skin, especially on my eyelids, so without primer my eye color used to last about 2 hours. It creates a waterproof base to apply your eye color and the color lasts all day.

The first time I tried it I kept checking my eye makeup every few hours waiting for it to crease. That first day it lasted all day at work and then all evening until about 9:00 when it started to crease. I adjusted how much I applied the next day and the eye color lasted even longer. Now I use it every day.

Oil Mattifier 

Combat shine for up to 8 hours.

I use this product in conjunction with the eye primer on humid days to make sure my eye makeup doesn't end up on my cheeks. A little oil mattifier on the lids then the primer and you're ready for a summer day by the lake.

I also use it in the t-zone area to keep the oil down. It's silky smooth and really gives my skin a nice matte finish. This is my last step before foundation.

TimeWise Microdermabrasion 

Two steps to softer, smoother skin.

I absolutely love this product. I was a little put off by the price at first, I had never spent much on skin care products and I had just started using Mary Kay. I had actually been a consultant for several months before I tried the Microdermabrasion set and I am so glad I finally did. The very first time I used it I went into work that day and one of the guys asked what I had done because my skin looked so good. I totally thought he was kidding! I've been using it twice a week since and my skin feels sooooo soft afterwards I can't stop touching face.

Step 1 is a scrub and I use it in the shower after I cleanse my face. Step 2 soothes the skin and I use that before any other skin care products. You just have to remember not to use acne products the same day because it can cause irritation.

Facial Cleansing Cloths 

Quickest way to cleanse your face

These are cool beacuse they're a quick way to cleanse and they are porable. They can be folded and kept in a baggie in your purse for emergency use or at the gym.

I mostly use these when I'm running late but now that its getting hot and humid I'm sure I'll be using these more often. I hate feeling sticky and these are a great way to quickly refresh your face on a hot and sticky day.

Look Good, Feel Good

The most important thing about skin care and cosmetics is that when you look good you feel good. Don't try to be someone you're not just be the best you you can be!

Tinted Moisturizer with Sunscreen SPF 20 

With 3 products in 1 you can't lose.

This is a extraordinary product when you're in a hurry. I started using this when I was still working a day job in addition to my Mary Kay business. I always overslept so I was looking for anything to save time. I love the light-weight formula and the sheer color. The SPF 20 is a total bonus and one less thing to worry about.

For a great 5 minute face I just cleanse, apply the tinted moisturizer, eyeliner, mascara, and lipgloss and I'm out the door.

Mineral Powder Foundation 

Who doesn't want a flawless looking complexion?

Ok, so I like most Americans had seen the comercials for mineral makeup over & over but I have this weird aversion to anything too popular so I never tried it. That was until my line came out with a version and of course I had to try it so I could tell my customers about it . And that's when I realized just how amazing minerals could be. I put it on the first time and it was like someone airbrushed my reflection!

My favorite thing about mineral powder is that the coverage is buildable so I can do sheer some days and full other days. I really like to use it with the tinted moisturizer for the ultimate flawless complexion.

Acne Treatment Gel 

Not too much to say about this one other than it works. It's smooth and light-weight and doesn't overdry my skin.

It can be used as a spot treatment or over problem areas. I use it everyday (when not using Microdermabrasion) on my problem areas, chin, nose and temples. The main active ingredient is 5% Bezoyl Peroxide which some people are sensitive to.

TimeWise Targeted Action Eye Revitalizer 

Dark under eye circles beware.

This is a fairly new product who's release was highly anticipated by me. It deminishes both dark circles and under eye puffiness. I don't really have the puffy issue but I do have dark circles and this is the product for that.

I was soooo excited when I finally got this product. I used it every day and started to see results after a few days. The more consistently I use it the better the results. I've gone almost a week without using it and the discoloration starts to come back so you do have to keep using it to see results. But it's uber-easy to use, it just rolls on. If you apply too much you can just pat with your finger and it's all good.

It has citrus peel in it so it smells yummy. There's a cooling sensation when you apply it which takes a little getting use to but it's totally worth every cent.

TimeWise Age-Fighting Lip Primer 

Reduce fine lines and get longer lasting color.

This is a total must have whether you wear lip color or not. It goes on smooth like a lip balm but not sticky. It has no color so you can wear it alone and it reduces those little lines on and around the lips.

My favorite thing about this product is that it extends the wear of your lip color. I apply this then wait a couple seconds for it to dry, then apply my lipstick and lip gloss. I can't go without it now, or my lips don't feel as soft.

Berry Kiss Lipstick and Berry Sparkle Lip Gloss 

My favorite color combo for lips.

I really like this color combo because it works well on all skin tones. It's more dramatic on Ivory tones and more natural on Bronze tones but it always looks good.

I wear this combo most of the time. It's my default everyday lip color.

Satin Hands Pampering Set 

Best hand treatment in town is in your own home.

The name says it all, Satin hands. This is the best hand treatment I've ever used.

It's a 3 step product:
Step 1 is an emollient cream you rub all over your hands.
Step 2 is the peach smoothie scrub which you add to the emollient and rub, rub rub. Then you rinse it all off making sure to get under and around the nails. Dry hands.
Step 3 is the hand cream.

I like to do steps 1 and 2 a few times a week but I use the hand cream every day. I love the smell of the hand cream. It's not to girly and I have several male clients who use it.
