If you've been involved in the MLM Network Marketing industry for any time at all, then you know how tough it can be. If you're totally new to this business, then I hate to break the news to you like this, but it's probably not as easy as your sponsor may have led you to believe.

Hold on now... I don't say that to discourage you at all. In fact I actually say it so that you can arm yourself, and be prepared to work smart, and truly out perform your competition.

It is "easy" work... but the trick is, knowing what to do, and how to do it!

Okay, so what's the most important aspect when it comes to your potential network marketing success? Well, your business will go nowhere without MLM Network Marketing leads to introduce your business to.

I'm sure you'll agree with me, that it makes perfect sense, right? Of course!

Now once you've got a system set-up to generate MLM Network Marketing Leads, basically on autopilot (or close to it), then most of your time should be spent following up with prospects, and being the best sponsor in the industry.

But until that happens, your focus needs to be on getting the highest quality, and most targeted MLM Network Marketing leads you can.

Which logically would raise another question...

One of the questions that comes up a lot in talking to, and consulting with, other network marketers... both beginners and veteran alike... is whether or not it's wise to buy MLM Network Marketing Leads.

Here's the thing, it's almost always better to have a system set-up and running to obtain your own MLM network marketing leads.

Why you ask? Here's why...

First of all, you need to get out of the "chasing" mode. You see, most people start off and never stop with this insane "chasing" mentality.

I mean here you are trying to find prospects all over the place, and honestly, some of those people you should have NEVER talked to about your business, not without at least qualifying them first. In fact, that's where the silly "3-foot rule" came into play in the first place, well that and all of that other silly stuff.

Allow me to clarify what I mean by saying the word "chasing." Here's what I mean, it's ALL about who contacts who first that really makes all the difference in the world!! If you contact the prospect first, in other words, you call them from a lead sheet you got or something similar to that... you are the one who initiated the contact. Therefore, it looks like you are "chasing" them.

It's practically impossible to have the right kind of posture when "chasing" someone.

On the other hand, if you have a system in place; which generates quality MLM Network Marketing Leads, and the prospect calls you first, because they look to you as the expert... then you can have the right kind of posture, and not look as thought you "need" them in your business.

By the way, there's a fine line to having, and using the right kind of posture with your prospects, but we'll leave that for another discussion.

The fact is, you want people coming to you. You want as many of your MLM Network Marketing Leads to be in your prospecting funnel as a result of them seeking you out, rather than the other way around.

How do you do that then?

Well, basically you need to become "MAGNETIC!" Speaking of becoming magnetic, there is a course that I highly recommend by Mike Dillard; it's called Magnetic Sponsoring.

Becoming magnetic means that people are drawn to you because of what you have. What do you have? You have an opportunity that they're looking for, a way to make money from home and help others, and you also have an expert mind in the industry that they want to learn from.

The way that you get the prospects to find you is by planting seeds, or bait (or however you want to put it, all over the place.) You can do this offline through newspaper advertising, etc... but the truth is that internet has been the great equalizer, and the best way for you to reach people virtually anywhere on earth, with just the click of a mouse.

It's also created the perfect opportunity for you to put yourself right smack in front of the people who are actively seeking out what you have.

This happens at places like search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN etc.), it happens on online classified sites, it happens in forums, and it happens by putting yourself on other sites that are relevant to your business.

So here's the deal, the more of this bait that you have all over the place online, the better your chances are of generating MLM Network Marketing Leads.

So, in my opinion buying leads can prove to be fruitful at a very low percentage, however when you generate leads on your own you have total control. You're acquiring fresh prospects who are not only interested in your opportunity, but more importantly in YOU!
