Calling Leads! The biggest Lie of All!

When I first started out I was told by my up-line that if I wanted to be successful I must treat my business like a "real" business and invest in buying leads. I was told that the more I invested the faster by business would grow. Now I had a very limited budget so, I could only start with $500 a month. The idea was to invest the money and re-invest the profit and I did this for several months. Here is how we were taught to work our leads.

#1. Call the leads several times a day until you get someone on the phone, if necessary dial *67 before dialing the number so this way the person would answer the phone since they couldn't tell that it was you calling.

#2. Stick to the script!!!!

#3. Always remember, the more No's you get the closer you are to a Yes!

#4. NEXT When someone hangs up on you or yells at you, just say to yourself "next" and keep dialing.

If you didn't sign people up, it was YOUR fault because you must not be following the script or calling enough leads.

If you don't mind, I would like to address a question that many people ask. How could someone be so stupid as to go broke on advertising? I mean some people go $10 to 20K in debt. How can this happen?

It works like this.

You are taught that you need to invest to grow your business.

So you charge, let's say $1000 on your credit card. And you say to yourself, no problem I'll just pay my card back when I get my business check.

So you get your check and you are reminded by your up-line that if you don't keep your advertising going you will loose momentum. So you take that money and don't pay back your card.

The next month, your check is only $800 so you put a few hundred on your card.

Do you get the idea?

Please hear me when I say, Your lack of success is NOT your fault.

Buying leads simply doesn't work. All it does is make the person you buy them from rich. Buying leads is a scam.

The good news, is that now you know that you can grow a business without spending money on advertising.

Still Buying Leads?

Still Buying Leads?

http://onlinebusinesscoach.info I used to buy leads too. Over a period 4 and 1/2 years I invested thousands in buying leads. I purchased leads from my up-line, purchased real time leads, so called exclusive leads, quality leads, home business leads. I also purchased business materials to pass out. Take my word for it, buying leads is a scam. Now I don't spend a dime and I attract people to me. I can show you how to do the same. Learn More Here http://onlinebusinesscoach.info. How do you feel about buying leads for your MLM?

    Success_Matters65

Great lense on why "at first glance" buying leads seem to make total sense, but really it's just another way to make the lead company rich. I have lost money buying leads too. It seems like a small investment at first (after all, it is cheaper then billboard advertising, LOL) but over a short period of time it can result in you going in the red. And what about the leads you call who are interested in working from home but are already in debt to start off with? If a lead program was all your company had to offer as a suggestion for advertising, then these people would be disqualified before they even had a chance to start. A thought network marketing was a people business. Isn't it your job to help them come up with solutions? There are a lot of free or low-cost solutions out there.

Oh I hate MLM's, it is amazing to me how many people fall for that. You are basically doing the advertising for someone who IS making money, and that won't be you! 5*

Lots of scams out there--it certainly pays to be a bit cynical at this stuff.

I my goodness if these aren't some familiar words. Hopefully any novice networker who comes here will let this sink in. I suggest they read it a few times to make it stick. Great stuff, 5 stars.
