I was visiting a forum recently and read a response to a question put forward by a newbie in network marketing.

Honestly, at this moment I can't remember what the question was but I can remember the response. To me it was a "hardliner" response from a young but entrenched MLM'er.

He was saying how he was pretty hard nosed about presenting his opportunity to people.

How they had to measure up, play the game, know what they want and come to the party or he would drop them off the list quick-smart!

These aren't his exact words but you get the idea.

I understand where he was coming from because I was there myself at one time. I'm happy to say that's no longer the case.

I find this confrontational approach to network marketing or MLM offensive and detrimental to having a successful business.

It is a method that has existed for decades and has no doubt served some people well. We also owe a lot of the negativity around network marketing to this approach and it's pretty obvious why.

Network marketing,MLM and internet marketing are all serious businesses with potential incomes in the stratosphere so they all need to be taken seriously.

However, a gentler, friendlier more inviting method of generating leads and prospects is more effective and in the long run stands a better chance of minimizing attrition.This is Attraction Marketing.

Attraction Marketing is pretty much self-explanatory. When implemented, attraction marketing actually creates a situation where prospects actually seek you out, wanting to know more because they are hungry for your opportunity or products.

Attraction Networkers are "Solutions Providers". Prospects have problems they are looking to find answers for.

You might have the solution for them through your opportunity, your products, or your support and coaching.

My hope is that network marketing is growing to be a much more user-friendly business where people see this business model as a safe and effective way to build and protect their financial future.

They are "attracted" into the business because they see it as a solution to at least one of their problems.

The internet is a wonderful thing.

I can remember when computers first came out of being scared to even touch the keyboard for fear of causing some major catastrophe. That was even before the internet was born.

Now, I'm sitting here with my wonderful laptop and writing this article to help those who want to learn about online recruiting and generating network marketing leads. Time and patience seems to sort things out.

No matter what business you're in, if it involves getting people to see your website or to join your business, the internet is a great source of generating network marketing leads .

I'm in internet marketing as well as network marketing and I can tell you that getting leads from the internet is a better idea for many people. It allows people to come to you, seek you out rather than you cold calling, or bugging people all the time.This is why I like it.

Of course, there's nothing stopping you from calling people up and telling them your story, creating a lifestyle image in their minds, and then pursuing them until they submit to your pleadings...if that's what you want to do. I don't and it never has been me.

So, this begs the question, what do you do to get network marketing leads using resources for online recruiting methods?

First and foremost is to prepare yourself for an educational journey.

Network marketing and internet marketing can be fantastic money earners allowing you to seriously change your lifestyle to that of your deepest desires.

However, there is certainly a cost involved. This is the time to learn what you need to do. There is no one out there that will do it all for you , no matter what they say or promises they make.

It will either cost you time, money, or both. Remember the saying, "If it's too good to be true, it probably is".

In my opinion, the most beneficial resources for online recruiting is the "free stuff". Hard to believe I'd say that, I know.

But I can honestly tell you that I have spent a small fortune on many programs that rarely deliver the goods.

In all fairness, I have to say that these programs did get me started on my learning journey and for that I'm grateful but I just wish it didn't cost me so much!

Having said that, there is always the need to go into things further than the free programs can provide, but they can certainly get you started and even earning a bit of money along the way.

There are ways to generate more leads and do it on a budget. How cool is that?
