Idea Central for CafePress Products
If you scrapbook, you're probably a pretty crafty person. Have you thought of fun alternative ideas of some of the things you can do with these products?
Coaster Tiles - Obviously they can be used as coaster tiles, but collect various tiles about scrapbooking, and you'll have a cool eclectic collection when you host crop night with your girlfriends! They could also be used as real tiles and grouted into a table, wall, or backsplash. Thinking about remodeling your scrapbook nook? Incorporate tiles into your new work space!Tile Boxes - Use as a jewelry box, keepsake box, receipt box, scrap box, embellishment box, ribbon box... whatever you can think of! I personally think they would be great to store those fabric flowers that are so popular for scrapbooking these days.
Stickers - They are actually of the same quality as the bumper stickers (UV and rain approved!) so if you don't want a full size bumper sticker, these are a great alternative. Or, if you don't like the idea of putting adhesive on your vehicle, turn the sticker into a magnet! Most scrapbookers have or know someone who has one of those little magnet making machines ( you know, the sticker makers with the magnet cartridge). You can also buy magnetic backing relatively inexpensively at most craft stores. Just adhere the sticker to the magnet, then trim. Instant magnet!
Aprons - Leave the BBQing to the boys. These aprons are great to wear during crop sessions. With deep front pockets, keep all those tools and embellishments close at hand if there's not a lot of table space. Wear while stamping to avoid getting ink on yourself. Great for crop instructors, party hostesses, scrapbook vendors, make-n-take designers... the list goes on!
Ornaments - There are so many wonderful things you can do with these ornaments. If you give them as an ornament gift, write the date on the back to be cherished always. They also make excellent gift tags! Just write the "to" and "from" on the back with a Sharpie. Use them as necklaces for a piece of unique jewelry or as balloon weights for your next party. Attach them to your scrapbook tote they you can easily recognize it at crops.
Mousepads - Stitching is all the rage with scrapbooking these days! If you'd rather do your stitching by hand than with a sewing machine: 1) Turn the mousepad upside down (foamy side up), 2) Place your sheet of paper on the mousepad, 3) Use a paper piercer to pierce holes for your hand stitching. When you are finished, turn your mousepad back over and use the decorative side to brighten up your scrap corner!
More Great Ideas For CafePress Products
A continuation...
Totes - These totes are huge! Measuring 15"x18"x6", they can easily hold just about any sized scrapbook item you might have. Take them to scrapbook conventions so you don't have to worry about any of the 12x12 paper you buy getting bent. Take them to crop night filled with all your supplies (I just did this and it worked great!). Use them for nonscrapbook related events like going to the grocery store or an overnight trip.Mini Buttons - My friends and I have a small collections of these that we keep on our scrapbooking totes. Find scrapbook-related mini buttons that match your personality and put them on your own tote! Other ideas would be to put them on the front of a fabric covered scrapbook album, or use them as decorative tacks on a corkboard. You can also pull the pin off the back and glue on a small magnet for use on the fridge or anywhere else with a magnetic surface!
Mugs - Well, of course you can drink out of them, but you can also use the mugs to organize your scrapbook nook by having them hold your pens, markers, colored pencils, decorative scissors, eyelet setting tools, scraps or whatever else you can think of!
Greeting Cards & Postcards - Use these to invite your girlfriends over to crop, and they'll think you're going all out for them! They can use the ivitations and postcards as keepsake of the event you planned. They can scrapbook them or frame them as little mini posters. I've designed my greeting cards as invitations to a scrapbook party.
