Come to Our Kid-Friendly "Spooky" Party!

This Halloween, join Mickey and his friends at the Magic Kingdom for a night of "not-so-scary" fun. The park will be transformed into a kid-friendly "Spooky" party that will include the newly-expanded "Mickey's Boo-To-You" Halloween parade down Main Street, USA and the bewitching "Happy HalloWishes" fireworks spectacular.

the gang

Kids of all ages can trick-or-treat throughout the park, get their faces painted and fortunes told and show off their costumes at special "Mous-Ka-Rade" parties. You'll find Stitches Cosmic Dance Party at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland and the Get Up and Boogie Dance Party at Ariel's Grotto in Fantasyland.

Your favorite Disney Villians take center stage at Cinderella's castle in a special halloween production - stick around, you don't know who you may meet after the show! Showtimes are 7:45, 9:00, 10:15 and 11:15pm.

In addition, guests can enjoy unlimited use of popular attractions such as Mickey's PhilharMagic, the Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan's Flight, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Cinderella's Golden Carrousel, and many more.

A Sneak Peek

The expanded Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade, better than ever with the new "Goofy's Candy Factory" finale, is performed nightly at 8:15 & 10:30pm.

Happy HalloWishes fireworks spectacular, where the Disney Villains go trick-or-treating in the sky, is at 9:30pm nightly.

Here are some videos from last year's party to get you in the "spirit"!

Tips

Headless Horseman
  • When Mr. Knickerbocker assembles at the Liberty Bell to tell the story of the Headless Horseman, you'll know it's show time. The parade is always preceded by a mad gallop down Main Street.
  • Characters will be decked out in their favorite costumes - so wear yours too. Be sure to choose costumes that are not obstructive to your child's view and won't be offensive to other park guests. Don't have your costume yet? Look below for some fun Disney duds!
  • A special discount code is provided for a 50% discount on PhotoPass photos taken during the event. Use it on-site or online to purchase 5x7 photos.
  • Mickey Trick-or-Treat Balloon To locate the nearest trick-or-treating depot, just look skyward for the oversized pumpkin balloons crowned with Mickey's signature ears. Cast members can be found nearby, with candy handouts for all. [Thanks to Martha for her Mickey trick-or-treat balloon photo! See more of her MNSSHP photos here.]
  • The second parade is less crowded... and gives you more time to collect treats!
  • You can make dining reservations for Tony's Town Square Restaurant or Liberty Tree Tavern's "Liberate Your Appetite" Character Dinner on all Party Event Nights by calling 407-939-3463.

Liberty Tree Tavern (All you care to eat meal served family style)
Adult (age 10+) $27.99 plus tax
Child (age 3-9) $12.99 plus tax
      Seatings are offered 5pm - 9pm.

Tony's Town Square (a la carte menu)
Guests order off the regular menu.
      Seatings are offered 6pm - 8:30pm.
  • The best trick-or-treating is in Toontown!
  • Exclusive Party Merchandise is available in select locations throughout the park.
  • Historically many nights have sold out in advance - particularly Friday nights and the last week of October. eBay is often a good resource for finding last minute tickets. Look below for links to some current auctions.
  • Although the party starts at 7pm, Cast Members begin letting in Guests with MNSSHP tickets between 4 and 4:30pm.
  • There's no stroller rental charge for party guests.
  • Don't waste a park ticket on the day of MNSSHP. Since you can get in by 4pm with a party ticket and the park is open until midnight, there is plenty of time to enjoy the park. Instead, have a leisurely day at the pool, take an afternoon nap and have a late lunch/early dinner before you go. That way you'll have lots of energy to last the whole night and you won't feel like you've paid double for that day.

More Halloween Fun!

Haunted Halloween Wagon Rides

If you miss out on getting tickets for MNNSHP or you just can't get enough of that Halloween fun - head on over to Ft. Wilderness for a Haunted Halloween Wagon Ride.

The journey begins in front of Pioneer Hall and the 15-20 minute ride takes you into the woods along the shores of Bay Lake. An onboard performer will share the tale of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" as the wagon travels through the dark woods, stopping to view points of interest along the way.

Beware though... I have heard that the Headless Horseman still roams those woods!

2006 Dates: October 13, 14, 18, 20, 21, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31

Price:
$15.00 + tax for ages 10 and up
$10.00 + tax for ages 3 - 9

Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis at the Ft. Wilderness Kennel from 8am to 5pm on the date of the hayride. When the day's allotment is sold out, a sign is posted in the parking lot.

There are 6 hayrides each evening. The times will vary, depending on the time of sunset, Wishes, etc.
