Mobile Marketing Part I

Mobile Marketing - Mobile Monopoly

Definitely Mobile Marketing is the new buzz words in the Internet Marketing Community.
Why?
Because only 1.8 billion people are active Internet users, and around 5 billions have a Mobile Phone, so it is a ratio of 1:3 which influences the marketing habits, advertising, and the why we do business as Internet Marketers.
Because when you live your house you take with you: the keys of the house, your wallet, and your cell phone. So your mobile devise is part of your life as much as your keys.
Those are enough reasons why we start to pay attention to the new wave - Mobile Marketing.

I have been with Mobil Marketing since August, but took some time to sort out all the new ideas, tested some systems, decided the direction I wanted to go and this coincided with discovering the now Google Ranking algorithm, called Caffeine, and the new directions on affiliate marketing... which complicated tremendously the process of taking the right decision.

I was happy about the new wave, I jumped immediately to Mobile Marketing, I made the sacrifice to isolate myself from other projects and wanted to make the effort to work at just one project at a time. But Caffeine means our ranking which cannot be ignored, and affiliate marketing is one of my niche, I just cannot let it go without some thinking...

So I find myself spreading my attention again in 3 directions... God! There is no escape of information overload.

But I am alive and well and I think now is the right time to share some knowledge. Let's get busy, complaining is not going to solve any problems, actually everybody is busy, and work out !

The part II will come soon and will be about Mobile Monopoly Strategy and Software BeastMobi.

Mobile Marketing Definition

The definition I know is "marketing on or with a mobile devices, such as mobile phones".

According with Wikipedia, in November 2009, the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) updated the definition:

"Mobile Marketing is a set of practices that enables organizations to communicate and engage with their audience in an interactive and relevant manner through any mobile device or network" by MMA.

The new definition enlarges the scope with an extension to organizations, for me this is the proof of importance of Mobile Marketing at this point.

Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) is a global non-profit trade association established to lead the growth of mobile marketing and its associated technologies. MMA is an action-oriented organization designed to
  • Clear obstacles to market development
  • Establish mobile media guidelines and best practices for sustainable growth
  • Evangelize the mobile channel for use by brands and third party content providers.

MMA has over 700 member representing over 40 countries around the globe, and includes:
  • Agencies
  • Advertisers
  • Device manufacturers
  • Retailers
  • Wireless operators
  • Software and
  • Services providers

You will find more about MMA in 2 posts of my Blog:
Mobile Marketing Strategy. and
Mobile Marketing Definition.

Adam's System - Mobile Monopoly

Adam's System, called Mobile Monopoly is the first system which integrates both worlds: Mobile and Internet marketing.

He uses all the resources
  • Define Mobil platforms
  • Show Mobile CPA Networks
  • Teach how to create mobile campaigns
  • Automated the entire process using aWeber
  • Integrate mobile capabilities with Internet Marketing concepts
  • Teach to follow and truck the results
  • Offer a free software created by him to create squeeze pages suited for Mobile devices, he has a paid version as well, but the free version is powerful enough to get you start.

Mobile Monopoly is coming with:
  • Full documentation, over 50 videos, each step is explain with all necessary details
  • Proven campaign examples
  • A software - BeastMobi
  • 1 on 1 discussion with Adam
  • Up to date info for life

I am really excited about Mobile Monopoly. It has been released to the public on the 3rd August 2010.

I am using the system for a couple of month now. The single negative part is that from the beginning you feel overwhelm with the quantity of new info, as soon you bypass this stage, Mobil Monopoly is in essence a easy to follow system.

So take a look at Mobil Monopoly.

Why Mobile Is So Important

It really is interesting to hear what Eric Schmidt, Google CEO, said at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Spain.

It is a long Video but it is an extraordinary Google vision Eric exposes in relatively easy terms, and a lesson of how a prosperous company as Google is looking, planning, and living in the future, for the future.

Excellent, Michey! This is definitely the way marketing is moving and you have to stay up to date. These lens will be very helpful to others in the field!
  • Michey Oct 29, 2010 @ 8:27 am | delete
Yes, I'll stay up-to-date, and I'll share. If the new things looks overwhelmingly new, I'll go slow... and in parallel with the Google Caffeine development. By accident I have discovered a couple of gems, I am in the process of testing them, and I come back with more.
I think the best technique is to follow both sources: the lenses and my blog dedicated to Mobile: http://mobile-profit.com
    Thanks for the kind comment.
