Well, for those who have not yet been to Crazy Mobile Casino, you might wonder how does one actualy get started in setting up your mobile phone to be able to gamble online. It will all depend on how old your mobile phone is. If your handest is from the Ark's days, then I'm sorry to say that it won't work. Your mobile handet must have MIDP2. Now if this all seems like greek, then go to www.gsmarena.com to check your mobile specs.
What MIDP2 basically means is that it supports the latest version of JAVA applications for handsets. Now the main handsets manufacturers that are compatible with Crazy Mobile Casino are:
1. Sony Ericsson
2. Nokia
3. Siemens
4. LG
5. Motorola
6. Samsung
7. Panasonic
However, not all of the handset models will work. If you want to check if your handset model is compatible, go to http://www.crazymobilecasino.com/handsets.asp.
If all checks out fine, then you can download the, what is called, the Casino Lobby. You can either obtain the WAP URL from the website or go straight to wap.crazyvegas.com
Once the casino lobby has been installed on your phone, you would need to register a player account first. Now the Crazy Vegas company has made it possible that you can register an account on any of its sites.
Once that is done, it's a matter of choosing which games you want to play, download them, log on and start playig. Oh, before I forget, you would have to deposit money of course :( But that's the name of the game I suppose ;)
The games themselves are quite awesome. The overall look of the games' graphics are excellent and I also quite liked the sounds effects, especially when you win. There is an announcer saying "Player wins!" Very cool.
Well, that's it for now but I'll chat again soon.

Hey Everyone.Today, I'll be dicussing how you use your mobile phone in order to use the Casino Lobby. I'll assume that if you are reading this section, that you have already downloaded the Casino Lobby, and you might have played around a bit.
When it comes to the functionality of the Casino Lobby, you will notice that the menu system and button structure consists of 4 buttons. You will see a left outer button, left inner button, right inner button and a right outer button. These buttons will be used to increase or decrease bets and to accept or decline.
However, depending on your mobile handset, some handsets have a joystick function. Once will also be able to make selections by moving your joystick button and clicking it to make a selection. Otherwise, you will notice that the options list on the menu are also numbered, so you can also enter the number you want to select by pressing the number key.
All in all, it is very easy to move around the Casino Lobby. Once you've managed to get the hang of it, you can log in and start playing. As mentioned before, you would need to have registered a real account on any of Crazy Vegas' sites and made a deposit. When loggin into the Casino Lobby, you will be asked to enter your account number and password. Now one thing that I have noticed is that the latest Casino Lobby version doesn't allow you to change tabs to numbers. That means for now, you have to press the key button until the number appears.
Once you have entered your account number and password, you won't have to enter your account number again as this will get saved on the gaming server. However, you will need to enter your password everytime you log in.
Well, that's all I have to chat about at this moment, but I will chat to you soon.

Hi Everyone.Although we are currently living in an ever advancing, technological driven, global community, there are still some people out there who (due to certain reasons or circumstances) unfortunately haven't had the opportunity yet to use any of the lates technologies such as computers, PDA's, mobile phones, etc, nor do they understand what is considered as normal jargon such as RAM, cache, MB, Kb, UMTS, GPRS, and so on.
Just because you don't know any of what has just been mentioned, doesn't mean anything negative. But I can sympathise with you as you might be wondering what on earth am I talking about. That is why I briefly want to explain to you about some of the basic jargon used that relates mainly to your mobile phone as well as how it might affect your mobile gambling.
Some of the important abreviations/jargons, that relates to your mobile phone are GPRS, 3G (UMTS) and GSM. In order to play any of Crazy Mobile's games, your mobile handset must be connected to the GPRS network. GPRS stands for General Packet Radio Services. It basically means that your download speed is a lot faster than your normal GSM connection. GSM is the mobile network that almost all handsets are using. Such GSM providers are Orange and Vodafone, just to name a few. If you are unsure if your mobile handset has access to the GPRS network, I'd advise you to speak to your network service provider.
3G is the same as GPRS, but the download speed on 3G is a lot faster that GPRS. This mainly is used by your high end data users. All and all, you must have at least GPRS connection before you can play with your mobile phone. Network coverage does play an important roll. If there is no signal, you can't play, nor be able to make any phone calls.
Geographical areas or even certain structures such as buidlings, etc can also affect the signal strength. When dealing with GPRS or 3G, you will normally be charged per Kb (kilobyte) that you download. (Please note that this is network dependant). The bigger version of a Kb will be Mb (Megabyte). Basically when ever your open a page on your mobile phone or download something, that page or document is measured in Kb.
Well, I hope I haven't lost many of you as I tried to explain it in the easiest way I could, but if you need more information or like to share some, please send me a mail.
Take care.

It feels good to be back again. I hope that you all had a fantastic holiday season. It's scary to think that we're already halfway through January 2007. None the less, hopefully we will see some great new mobile gaming releases and new ways of gambling. There is an interesting article that I've recently read. It was about the World Poker Tour (WPT) that has launched it's branded poker product in association with a well known wireless solutions provider.
The best part of this new product is that it offers a multi-player (up to 6 players) to play real money mobile poker. The main targeted geographical area is Europe, especially the UK market.
I personally think that this new product can change the nature of mobile gaming. I mean, can you imagine being able to sit and play an online poker tourney on your mobile phone, no matter where you are in the world? I don't know about you guys but if you're watching ESPN Poker nights, just imagine how many poker players will be able to play just by using their mobile handsets!
It baffles the mind but hey, like I said, this is 2007 and technology is forever changing.
Well, that's the first bit of news that I have to tell you for 2007 but there is more to come.
I'll catch you all later.
Take Care

A mobile casino discussion
For those of you who are keeping up to date on a regular basis as to what is happening in the mobile casino industry, you will know that many market research companies are predicting that the mobile casino business will equal the online casino revenue generated over the next 5 years. That may be all true but why isn't everyone already gambling with their mobile phones if it is so easy as they say it is?
Personally I believe the 3 main reasons are:
1. Handset support
There are so many mobile phones out there around
world (3 for every 1 PC)but not all of them
are supported by the various mobile casinos.
2. Network related
This refers to coverage, which I think most 1st
world countries don't have a problem with.
But in the development countries, some places
still don't have coverage which again means
that you loose quite a few players.
3. Player acceptance of mobile gambling
This probably a tricky one because some people
will feel comfortable with gambling on their
mobile phones and others don't. Or is is because
they don't know how to begin with? Educating
the players will probaly be needed and expose
them as much as you can to mobile casinos.
Now here is the question I'd like to ask you. Which one of these factors do you think makes sense? or what do you think are barriers to accepting mobile casinos?
Please feel free to leave your comments in the Guest book.
Catch you later,
M
