Samsung i780

Long lasting Smartphone

While everybody is craving for those oozing coolness, mesmerizing, eye catching, great looking mobile phones, busy users are struggling to find the most feature packed, convenient and useful smartphone. Every now and then, new technologies are implemented and discovered. Busy users are opted to adjust and get the latest Smartphones as to not left out. However, these are just preference. But it is really convenient if you have a reliable Smartphone on your side. If you're a Samsung fan or just want a good Smartphone then you'd better take a look at Samsung's new i780. It's got high end features and well... looks kind of awesome too. Anyway let's take a look at what the Samsung i780 has to offer for you.

As with any user, we want to check out what it looks like. The Samsung i780 has a simple design that boasts it's big touch screen. Its quite large and massive to look at especially when you look at it's QWERTY keypad, it has a 115.9 x 61.3 x 13.3 mm size and weigh a little heavy in 120 grams. You can easily notice its large 2.6 inch 65k colors QVGA LCD TFT screen in 320 x 320 pixels resolution. Quite blocky to look at but it's just appropriate. The 65k screen is quite a low but with it's pretty user interface and bright display, you can't really fault the Samsung i780.

The Samsung i780 is great phone for busy users. It has all the basic application features of a smart phone and much more. Busy user's will surely love this phone as it has MS Office Mobile that will help you create office documents even when you're on the go. It also has a handy Document Viewer so that you can view those important files even if you're not at your office. And like the famous Nokia N95, the i780 also has is its own GPS Navigation. This maybe good news or bad news as the i780 runs on Windows Mobiles, it's still too early to say that it doesn't have the problems like Symbian phones but it certainly will make the i780 a high priced phone.

Being a Smartphone, the phone should have good Internet and Calling Capabilities as this is the most crucial feature a Smartphone should have. And the Samsung i780 has a lot to offer. Its got the fastest, the most up to date features available today. It has Tri Band network making it quite reliable to bring on a tour anywhere in the world. Its a 3G phone allows you to have the trendy Video Calls and what's great is that it is implemented in 3G HSDPA making it faster and smoother. Its got GPRS and even the latest WLAN Wi-Fi Technology. Internet is super fast and data transfer is super easy with USB and Bluetooth support. It has UMTS network and utilizes GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900 frequencies to effectively allow better roaming between countries.

The Samsung i780 is also an great multimedia device as busy users also want a nice breather when taking breaks. The Windows Media Player can play virtually all the common music formats and works just like the one on your Microsoft PC desktop. A bit of a let down as it doesn't have music tweaking features like a MegaBass of Sony Ericsson Walkman phones or 5 Band Equaliser that the Nokia 5700 XpressMusic has.

This will be quite a bad news for some, the Samsung i780 isn't a camera focused phone. Unlike the Samsung G800, the Samsung i780 only has a 2 Megapixel Camera, only has an Auto Focus functionality and deosn't have a Flash! Quite a shock there as the i780 has kept us going till we knew this. Another bad thing is that it doesn't have a pre-allocated memory for the user, you need to buy MicroSD%u2122 Memory Card for it to have one. Quite a shocker there. Anyway, you might forgive this phone as among the other Smartphone, the i780 has the most hard working battery. It has a 7 Hours Talk Time or 400 Hours Standby which is really amazing for a Smartphone.

So there you have it, the Samsung i780 isn't much of a charmer and also not such a feature packed Smartphone but the high battery time is a saver. It's all about preference now f you want it or not. But as far as budget is concerned, it is advisable you get the best Samsung i780 monthly offers or best cashback deals for you to get the most of this phone.

Samsung G600

Best selling slider

Slider designs has been the most common best seller for Samsung. It is not that surprising however, as these mobile phones are indeed very flashy and attracting. The Samsung G600 is one of the most best selling slider phones, it is very sleek, flashy and it has a lot of features too. It even has the latest high end camera on board. This makes the Samsung G600 not just a good looker but a high end mobile phone as well. The Samsung G600 is a whole lot different phone than its predecessors, it would take a whole new experience learning how to use it even for those who previously owned a Samsung mobile phone.

The Samsung G600 is an eye candy with its sleek slider. The phone has an average weight in 105 grams and its very slim in 102 x 47.8 x 14.9 mm in size making it easy to carry and easy to keep. The phone has a smooth cover which makes it look very elegant and grand. The slider mechanism looks very smooth and sleek especially when you open it to reveal its well designed keypads. The keypads are responsive and its not touch sensitive which is great but they're a bit small, users might have problems adjusting to this phone. It has a big screen in 2.2 inches, it is highly colored and displays clear images as it has TFT 16 Million Color Screen in 320 x 240 Pixels resolution. Its a good screen upgrade from a 262k color screen that most Samsung mobile phone's have.

Being an eye candy, the G600 doesn't miss out in multimedia capabilities. The phone has a good video player and a music player. The video player is nice to have especially with a powerful screen on board, watching videos on this phone is a treat. The Music player has good audio quality, not the best but not the worst. It has an FM Radio which is always good to have. The FM Radio in my opinion is a feature that should not be missed out in any mobile.

The phone has an outstanding 5 megapixel camera which takes good quality pictures. Although not a camera focused phone, it has many functions and options that the user should learn to take full advantage of its high end camera. It also has a flash which is crucial for you to take shots in dark places. The camera is not as powerful as the Sony Ericsson's K series which is camera focused and full of imaging features, but its still a good camera taking pictures in high pixel details.

The connectivity of the Samsung G600 is superb. It has Bluetooth and USB support for convenient file transfers. This also makes the G600 compatible to USB and Bluetooth add-on devices such as Headsets and Mass Storage Devices. The G600 is in Quad Band frequency, allowing users to enjoy calls around the world. Network connectivity is dependent to providers though.

The G600 is an awesome phone, it looks elegant and features makes this a top selling phone. The Samsung G600 is now available in cheap 12 months contract deals. Also available in Samsung G600 free line rental deals with free gifts.

Motorola SideKick Slide

Internet focused phone

Since the success of the RAZR, Motorola has constantly released mobile phones based on the RAZR's design. Later models almost had the same looks but still lacking features, they are best sellers just for their looks. But now that LG has dominated this category mesmerizing everyone. Nokia and Sony Ericsson sold high by packing powerful features into one.Taking on the challenge and rising back in the ranks, Motorola is now ready to take mobile phone designs into a new level. Featuring the Motorola SideKick Slide, this phone is set to impress casual users and teens alike.

The Motorola SideKick Slide's design stands out, its small so its easy to carry. Its overall size is only 119.4 x 61 x 17.8 mm and weighs 150 grams, comfortable to hold and easy to keep. For gamers, you'd easily notice that it looks almost like the Nintendo Advance console. Sorry to say, Unlike the Nokia N81 which has dedicated gaming keys, SideKick Slide isn't a game focused phone. Anyway, the phone has a sliding mechanism at the center. The phone is designed to effectively put a full QWERTY keyboard on a mobile phone without taking much of the space, considering how small the SideKick Slide is.

Showing off its QVGA 65k color screen in 240 x 320 pixels, the Motorola SideKick Slide. Though it's quite noticeable that it has quite a low color count than the Nokia screens, it pretty much displays good looking images in good detail. The user interface is plain and simple, though for my taste the displays aren't very eye catchy. There are too many colors used and simply does not blend well with the casing. The menu doesn't quite go well with the contextual menus, the main menu are rounded and the contextual menus looks too simple. For me, the looks of the SideKick Slide is just too... kiddy. :)

Navigating the phone is quite easy, but texting could be frustrating especially if this is your first time using a miniturized QWERTY pad. If you get used to it though, you would find the SideKick useful. The Navigation buttons are well placed and makes it easy to go around the Menus especially when using the Track Ball.

Multimedia is a great past time and if you needed much diversions, the Motorola SideKick won't bore you out. It has pretty good features, not the best but just good. It's got a nice music player able to play MP3, AAC and iMelody. The phone has got loud speakers that outputs good quality sound. It has a 128MB memory capacity, not enough for a music lover but you can expand it as it supports MicroSD memory up to 4GB! Sad thing though is that this phone doesn't have an FM Radio. The phone also allows you to play your favorite movies as it has a typical video player. It also has nice Embedded Games pre-installed if you want interactive entertainment.

Sad for people who like to take pictures, the phone doesn't have good camera features. It only has a 1.3 Megapixel camera, not too high but it does the job. It can take clear pictures in good details, pretty much alright for a casual user. It doesn't have a flash, what a turn off.

The Motorola SideKick Slide is an Internet usage focused phone allowing you to have fast Internet access. Its got GPRS technology which is now the usual connectivity implemented in mobile phones. The phone has a EDGE technology which is 4x faster than GPRS, currently the fastest technology that transfers data efficiently.

When talking about messaging, the phone supports SMS (Text Messaging), MMS (Multimedia Messaging) and EMS (Enhanced Messaging), sending and receiving isn't a problem with the SideKick Slide. It has Instant Messaging and Predictive Text functionality which is a must functionality among speed texting users.

Although this is an Internet usage focused phone, calling isn't a problem with the SideKick Slide. It has Quad Band network connectivity, utilizing four frequencies in GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900. This means the phone is great for roaming allowing you to have great connectivity even in between countries. The phone has a decent battery to power these high end features, it can last up to 7 hours of Talk Time. Oddly enough, it can only stand up to 156 hours standby...

Overall, the phone is a good phone to have. It has good enough features that will satisfy a casual user. The design is pretty "kiddy" for me, but it's just preference. In any way, the phone is available in free line rental deals and cheap monthly Motorola SideKick Slide offers, buy it for your kid or try it out yourself.

LG Shine 3G

Cool looking phone in metallic casing

LG sells high using the attractiveness of their phones such as the famous LG Chocolate. And after its great success, LG released the U970 aka "Shine". Like the Chocolate, the LG Shine is apt to sell by its looks, and no doubt it sure will. The design is no doubt a winner, it will surely win a fashion conscious user's heart. Truly remarkable design and very creative at that. Although it has a slider design made common by Samsung, you can hardly tell which mobile phones of these two companies has the most attractive designs. In order not to create confusion and further argument, let us see what the LG Shine has.

The LG Shine has slim body and is slightly heavy. It weighs 119 grams but its quite small in 98 x 51 x 14 mm size, this makes the LG Shine easy to hold and keep in your pocket. Its keypads are not touch sensitive making it easier to text. The attracting casing is very cool to look at, it is made of metal which shines when hit by sunlight. Careful on the casing though as it catches scratch and fingerprints quite easily. It has 2.2 Inch QVGA 262k Color Screen in 240 x 320 Pixels resolution, the screen brilliantly displays clear images. The phone's displays lights up when used and dimmed when inactive. The screen also is creatively designed to add more appeal to its looks, when left inactive for some time it turns amazingly into a mirror, thus the name "Shine".

The LG Shine has more to offer than just looks. The phone does not lack in multimedia capabilities. It has a good music player that is compatible with MP3, AAC, AAC+ and AAC++ file types. It also has a video player for you to enjoy. The phone is equipped with a 2 Megapixel Camera with Schneider Kreuznach Lens, Flash, Auto Focus and 2 x Digital Zoom. The although a bit low end now-a-days, the camera takes nice pictures in pretty good details. It can take good quality videos too. The phone has a pretty good memory, around 575 MB storage space for you to save your videos, files, images etc.

The LG Shine is also good in connectivity. It has 3G which allows you to have pleasurable video calls. The phone has Bluetooth and USB support which makes the phone compatible to various add ons such as wireless headsets and mass storage devices. It has a fast HSPDA connection for high speed downloads. The phone has a Tri Band frequency and UMTS, this allows the phone to have pretty good signals. However, network coverage is dependent to the provider. The phone has an average battery life, it can go for 3 Hours in Talk Time and 261 Hours if its in Standby.

Overall the Phone is an awesome eye candy but average in features. If you're into looks then this phone is for you, or you can go with the LG Chocolate which is also a good looking phone. These phones are available online in cheap LG Shine contract deals and mobile phone deals with free gifts and line rental.

LG Chocolate

Great looking phone, very pricey though

The LG Chocolate is the most successful phone ever released by LG. And no doubt that is currently the most craved by many users. The phone has good features and most of all a very attractive design. Well known to sell by its looks, the LG Chocolate is still a best selling phone LG ever had. The LG Chocolate is a non 3G mobile phone, but even so, the phone's average features is enough to please a fashion conscious user.

The LG Chocolate has a very well made design, very attracting and definitely attention grabber. The phone has a sophisticated look in a very dark brown casing, 95 x 48 x 15.2 mm in size and weighs 83 grams, easy to carry or keep in your pocket. The casing is smooth and has a glossy look which makes it attractive but also makes it prone to scratches. The phone has a TFT 262k color screen in 176 x 220 pixels resolution, not such a high quality but it display good images. The touch-pad is a bit sensitive and might give you time before you get used to it. The touch-pad has a kind of "mysterious" design, as it vanishes when not in use. And when the touch-pad is activated the keypad glow in red, quite an eye catcher isn't it. However, the touch-pads has an issue of not responding. This is probably because the touch-pads are touch and heat sensitive so it might need you to prolong in pressing the keys. Anyway, the phone has good sized keypads, not too big and not too small which is good for texting.

The LG Chocolate has good multimedia functions. It has a good Music Player, compatible with MP3, ACC, ACC+, ACC++ and WMA. It has good audio and plays music well with its built-in stereo speakers. Unfortunately though it lacks an FM Radio which is quite a let down. However, the phone can store up to 128 mb of memory of music and images. And again, its quite a let down since it has no memory card support. The music player can be multi-tasked meaning you can listen to good music while you text or call, it does make your phone slow however.

The LG Chocolate has a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash and 4x digital zoom which takes pretty good pictures. The pictures look good when viewed on the phone, but due to its low camera pixel resolution it doesn't look good when viewed large. The phone at least has a video recording capability which is good.

Being a mobile phone, the LG Chocolate has pretty good network connectivity. It has a Tri Band frequency, its pretty average but it does the job well. It does have good connection to common frequencies around the world, better than dual band anyway. It has all the basic messaging capabilities that you would actually need. It has Bluetooth and USB support, its pretty standard for a mobile phone to have these as these are the most common connectivity because of its convenience in file transfers.

Overall the LG Chocolate is a cool mobile phone, creative and looks very attractive. The features it holds is pretty average for a high priced phone. You can cut back money using mobile phone deals with free gifts and line rental or cheap monthly LG Chocolate offers, so take advantage of it.

Nokia E65

Better and smarter

Mobile phones just keeps getting better every time they get released on the market, excluding out of date phones of course. I even wonder why mobile phone companies still produce low end mobile phones, maybe to cater the needs of people who are low on budget. Every now and then there are new and improved mobile phones, every release takes a step higher in technology advancement. Maybe it's not that far away when we see those sci-fi high tech phones on TV being released by years to come. Anyway, the most noticeable improvements are Smartphones. These phones are dedicated to busy users which has the most advanced features, becoming more and more sophisticated and at the same time usable. Busy users will find these phones indispensable as they become dependent to the usefulness of these phones. The most known company that produces these kinds of phones is Nokia. Nokia has built a huge reputation known for producing phones that are highly usable. And if you're a busy users, I'm guessing that you've seen and known what the Nokia E51 had to offer. Well here's another high seller released by Nokia for busy users, the Nokia E65.

Easily recognizable as a Smartphone by its name and no doubt you'd expect no less from a Nokia made Smartphone, highly usable. Smartphones are made to connect and efficiently handle your calls, including video calls of course. It has the most preferred Quad Band frequency, it has GSM 850, GSM 900, GMS 1800, GSM 1900 and even WCDMA 2100. Having more than one frequency in one device is useful to enable roaming between different countries that peg the allowed transmission frequency at different values or to allow a better coverage in the same country. This basically means that you will have good connection when calling anywhere in the world and if you're inside a good coverage you can easily enjoy an uninterrupted calls.

The E65's messaging capabilities are nice and perfect for a busy user, it has the basic convenient messaging functions that you would occasionally need. It has SMS (Text Messaging) and MMS (Multimedia Messaging) support. It has MMS Distribution List and SMS Distribution List, making it easy for you to send those urgent messages to your mates. The phone can send Email using POP, IMAP, SMTP and IMAP4 protocols. It also has predictive text functionality, texting with the E65 will be a breeze.

The Nokia E65 is equipped with decent connectivity features that enables fast and convenient connectivity. It has commonly implemented technologies for great compatibility like USB and Bluetooth connectivity. Internet connection is fast through WLAN and WCDMA which also allows smooth video calls. The E65 is also equipped with InfraRed connection which is invaluable when connecting to devices that have limited connection and only allows this kind of technology.

While the Nokia E65 has good call and messaging capabilities, we would also want our phone we use to look good. Well, you won't be ashamed of the E65 as it is quite a good looking phone. It has a slider design which is cleverly made not just to save space but also to make it look cool and snappy. It is 105 x 49 x 15.5 mm in size and weighs 115 grams. It is easy and comfortable to hold. The weight and the "metallic" casing makes the phone feel comfortably solid. The casings' detailed designs makes it more attractive. The E65 has a good sized screen, it's a 2 Inch 16 Million Color QVGA Screen in 320 x 240 pixels resolution. It's pretty big and displays images clearly in full colors, a Nokia standard.

Like many Nokia phones, the E65 also has an ergonomic keypads. Just beneath the screen, slide it open to reveal its comfortable keypads. This is a great feature, not only does it add more elegance and beauty, it is also very practical. Nokia is known for having the most comfortable keypads design and they plan to stick with it. The E65 has dedicated keys that automates and makes it convenient to make calls. Nokia calls them One Touch Access Keys, these buttons control Mute, Contacts and Conference Call functionality, neat huh?

The Nokia E65 is also great when you need a breather as it has good multimedia capabilities unlike it's predecessors. It is equipped with a Music Player that can virtually play all common music file types. Radio is missing and replaced with Music Streaming, in my opinion this is quite a bad move for Nokia. Radio is always a top choice when you listen to live or randoms songs, but to replace it with Music Streaming... First off, music streaming isn't that good and second most of these need you to have a paid account to access these songs, anyway Radio is still much preferred. The phone has embedded games to keep you busy on having fun. The phone can store 50 Mbytes of pictures, video and data files. It can be expanded further more as it has MicroSD card support. The phone's battery is pretty powerful, it can withstand 6 Hours Talk Time or 265 Hours Standby.

Overall the phone is a great buy if you need a Smartphone. It's features are top notch and it comes pretty cheap in best Nokia E65 line rental offers or get it free in best cashback deals.

It has an outstanding battery life making it a very useful phone. It can stand 9 Hours Talk Time (not 3G) and 400 Hours Standby (not 3G). Very nice indeed. But as these features astound you, it might change you mind on buying this phone as it also has its own dark secrets. And that is its keypads, the navigator is in an awkward design and the keys are reported easy to break. These little things might be enough to frustrate you, so be warned. However, these aren't such serious problems for the phone. The keypads are easily replaceable and you just need to get used to the navigation keys.

Its a great phone, it costs lesser than other 5 Megapixel cameras plus it has a Xenon Flash. Getting used to it and knowing how to change the camera settings is the key to using its full potential. Its a good buy since it has cheap monthly Sony Ericsson K850i offers and best cashback deals.
