Music and Video

It is supporting microSD cards up to 16GB there's plenty of storage for music and video files. There's an accelerometer, a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio and a TV output port for viewing videos or playing the built-in games on your big screen. You can also link up to two web feeds to each contact, so by pressing the contact bar you can see regular online updates from the relevant blogs, web pages or social networking sites.

Camera

Application menus appear on a nice translucent overlay in most applications instead of Symbian's usual pop-up lists, making the camera much easier to operate while switching options.

When taking a picture pressing the shutter release slightly carries out a fast focus, whilst pressing down the button completely captures the picture directly. It's also thanks to the key lock bar on the side that the phone is very useful for taking a quick snapshot.

Screen

Resistive touch screens have had a bad rap for being less sensitive than their capacitive touch screen counterparts, however, the screen on the 5800 goes a long way to proving this is a speculative falsehood. This screen is as sensitive as we've seen from any of the touch screens in market at this time.
