Make Your Own Halloween Mobster Costume
All I had to do was raid my father's closet for just the right mobster accessories. I helped myself to an old suit, vintage tie, fedora, suspenders, shades, and cigar for my classic mobster look. A little scar makeup was just the right finishing touch.
Hey, don't mess with me this Halloween. I'd hate to see you on my hit list. I've got to go go now. The Godmother is calling and you don't keep her waiting. You heard me right. The Godmother is in charge of Halloween this year.

Sometimes gangster girls just want to have fun. It can be a shallow life being nothing more than eye candy on the arms of our tough guys. This year we're doing a role reversal. I didn't have to buy any clothing for my Halloween costume. Homemade mobster, gangster, or Mafia costumes are the best. This is one of the easiest and most inexpensive costumes you can make.
You may already have everything you need for your mobster costume. If you can't borrow items from friends or family members, your best bet is to check your local used clothing store or ebay. There is still time to get everything you need.

I don't look very fearsome, so I needed a nasty scar on my face to accent my mobster look. My friends decided to paint on some facial hair to be a little more convincing as tough guys. The photo above shows us in the local drugstore searching for makeup items. We got excellent customer service thanks to our costumes.

I borrowed a toy gun for my costume and was also loaned gloves so that I would not leave any fingerprints at the scene of a hit. **No animals or humans were harmed in the making of this Halloween costume.** Of course, you could follow the advice from this conversation in The Godfather movie:
