Hi my name is Gabe and this is my take aka review on MockupTiger Wireframe Software. First, some background on me.
I live in Sacramento CA and I have owned multiple small businesses throughout my life, the two biggest ones being a pet sitting business and a marketing consulting business. I have some college but I dropped out before I had a chance to get my degree. Part of why I like MockupTiger is that it does not take a genius to be able to make it work. I do web design for my own business as well as other businesses so I am always on the lookout for good design products for mockups, charts, and all that fun stuff. Understand that I have only scratched the surface of its capabilities as I mainly use it for website mockups and graphics and some basic dashoboards. However, I have a few friends who also are using MockupTiger so I will give you their feedback as well.

So on to my MockupTiger Review. What is it??
Here is the official definition from the website:
"MockupTiger helps you build wireframes, mockups and prototypes. It is very unique web based Rapid prototyping application and offers the best widgets to build Dashboard Wireframes or website Mockups. Provides scalable library of vector Icons, powerful Text widgets, containers and boxes and Dashboard Chart widgets."

Now here is my description. Summed up into as few words as possible MockupTiger is a prototyping application for Dashboards, Web Apps (for you app designers out there), Web Sites and basically any type of software you might be putting together.
In my opinion these are the people who will benefit most:
1. Web Designers
If a client asks me to develop a new page on the website, I can quickly put together a new wireframe with descriptive sticky notes in the mockup. I can then convert it to PDF or a screenshot and send it over. Very cool
2. Business Owners
If you are starting a new project or business (as I usually use it for) you need to build a mockup or sketch of your future site or project. Then once its created you can give it to your employee or outsourcer (I suggest oDesk.com) as a mockup screenshot or PDF. Makes it very easy to work out all the design kinks and get things perfect.
3. Business Consultant/IT Tech Support
MockupTiger has an incredibly large library of Chart Widgets. You can drag and drop them, quickly put in your data, create the mockup and use it for your presentation. This can help immensely if you are beta testing a project.
One of the main selling points Rudrasoft promotes is the fact that this is the first wireframing application with true charts with prototyping ability. From my experience this gives you the capability to build web and desktop wireframes in minutes.
Although not perfect, the true value here is the amazing time saved using the software

My honest MockupTiger Review
The company who builds MockupTiger, Rudrasoft, has been around for awhile and has a good reputation for its other products. A friend of mine has used their dashboard design software InfoCaptor and loves it.
Let's go over the main Benefits and Features of MockupTiger

This is great if you want to give or sell this service to your own customers or clients
- Drag and Drop Simplicity
With flexible font sizes and text controls, as well as easy alignments, fill and stroke options and colors, and easy transparency settings
- Unlimited Projects and Mockup Pages
You can organize everything into projects and folders. Very slick interface
- Flexible work environment
You can go fullscreen and also resize all of your individual work windows
- Dashboard Mockups
As far as I can tell the ONLY wireframe application that gives you true charts with prototyping ability.
- Versioning
MockupTiger automatically creates daily versions.
- Clickable Mockups and Wireframes with Linking
One of my favorite features you can link to any page in the same project or another project. You can even link to external URLs
- Create Grids and Tables
Table widgets with several ways to customize the design
- Speedometers and Guages
Gives you the capability to create kick ass speedometer gauges and mockups in minutes. Saving time is saving money when it comes to this stuff.

MockupTiger Problems/Cons
The bad parts of my MockupTiger Review
Honestly there are not many. Yes there is better software out there, but it is more expensive. Yes, there is a bit of a learning curve. Yes, it is not perfect. However, for the money it is the best by far.
