Let's be honest and lay down some ground rules. If it's inexpensive it's made in China! If it's medium priced, it's made in China! If it's expensive, it's made in China....well maybe not, perhaps Italy or Germany. Does it really matter that it's made in China? No it doesn't; maybe it did ten years ago but it doesn't matter today. There are plenty of Chinese manufacturers that import foreign furniture materials like stainless steel, superb fabrics and Italian leather. Talking about leather, you do have to be careful when buying modern leather furniture as the Chinese use lots of water buffalo leather and bonded leather, but that's another story that I will talk about in another lens.
