Great tips. I must admit to holding onto the solo socks way too long hoping the mate will magically reappear. No more kids in the house, so I'll fill one with rice for a microwave warm pack. Lensrolled to Green and Frugal Tips. Thanks so much!

I LOVE this particular tip :" Keep a plastic storage tub filled with sand and small sandbox toys in your trunk. That way when you visit with a friend or relative that doesn't have kids, you have a ready made toy that keeps them from being bored."

Well, this would also be helpful for all the grandma's out there today. But, sometimes difficult to compete with computers, video games and ipods. ;)

What a great lens! My children may be too old to benefit, but I'm definitely making "mental notes" for when we get to the grandchildren part of the program - 5* for some fabulous ideas :o)
