I love to make chicken n dumplings, chicken n rice, or soup, stew, or chili on rainy days. We are lucky that the power rarely goes out. Great lens!!!

How comforting to think -- when momma cooks -- for me, it was a big comfort to sit in Grandma Julia Nagy's kitchen and watch her -- rolling out the dough for noodles, making stuffed cabbage, trying to master the strudel dough -- oh, I could go on and on! ;)

I love to cook, however my mom was not a very good cook. I have a great wheat bread recipe on my Homemade food for the soul recipe.

Great lens! You make great lenses. I love coming to read them. 5*

This Momma cooks too! We don't live in hurricane country but it never hurts to have a stocked pantry. Enjoyed reading this. 5* and lensrolled!

I remember helping my Aunt Libby clean up after a huge tornado in Louisville, KY a few years ago. What a mess!

Most chefs, when asked about their favorite foods, name dishes along the lines of your recipes here. Home-made comfort foods and mama's cooking are always the favorite choices. 5*s

This momma cooks chicken 'n dumplings or macaroni and cheese, but she thinks she needs to try some of that baked oatmeal. Mmmmmm, mmmm!

Nice lens that's rather timely with the flooding going on in the middle of the country. Wish we could go fix all these recipes to comfort those folks. Thanks for the lens!
