Monarchy Clothing is an eclectic collection which is almost a lesson in realizing your dreams. After 12 years in the clothing industry designing for other companies, Eric Kim found the need to pursue his own vision overwhelming. In 2004, he left a lucrative CEO position at a prestigious private label firm, and founded The Monarchy Clothing Company.

The Monarchy Motto: We don't just make this stuff... we live it. 

Eric assembled an eclectic mix of designers to achieve his vision by tapping into the talent pool residing in downtown Los Angeles. At the core of this collective are Cameron McEwan - Musician turned designer, Rich Yu - Multimedia aesthete, and Michael Seiler - Fine-art refugee. This creative nexus has facilitated the the rise of a brand interwoven with the collective unconscious at the core of Los Angeles.
