Even though most of us want money, many of us have ideas and subconscious impulses that interfere and sabotage our best efforts to earn and keep money, and I hope this page will help you make positive growth in your cash flow whatever you do to generate income and do good business.

I wish you happiness, good health, and wealth!
Important!

Studies have shown that improving your thinking may improve your income. Don't let conscious or unconscious negative feelings about money keep you from having what you need and want in your life!

Make a List of Positive Things Money Allows You to Do

Make a list of your own like this one to remind yourself of all the positive things money does for your life. Take your time with it and make the list as long as you want. Many people find this helps them to remember the good things having money does for them. MAKE SURE to phrase your sentences in the present tense and in a positive way. It's better to say "Having Money lets me....." than "If I had money I could.... ( but I can't ) "

Making the list is an exercise for your mind, so keep it positive because those statements affirm the positive side and the possibility of money in your life. ( negative statements only reaffirm what you wish you had or don't have. ) Here's a few examples:
.
  • Having money is FUN!
  • Having money lets me buy gifts for friends and loved ones!
  • Having money makes me feel more secure.
  • Having money takes care of basic important needs like housing, food, and transportation.
  • Having money allows me to buy new toys!
  • Having money helps me get things I need to pursue my goals.
  • Having money helps me to improve my life and the lives of others around me.

Value Your Time

Using your time wisely helps you keep improving your finances

Your time is valuable. Just like with money, you make choices about how to spend your time. Often when people are frustrated about money they feel less motivation to work towards their goals because they feel blocked or thwarted, as though none of their efforts could help. If you're reading this it's a good sign, your searching for pages like this shows that you're motivated to improve things in your life. Keep it going!

If you like to write, work on writing about your financial goals. Think about what things you've done in the past that have been successful, and what things have been enjoyable. Often those things may actually go together. When we enjoy what we're doing we work effortlessly, because working is a pleasure. If you're working at a job you hate, think about what directions you could take slowly to open yourself to new and better opportunities. Think about what skills you have, what hobbies you enjoy, and how you could put those things to work for you on the side in lucrative ways.

These answers will be different for different people, so do some brainstorming. Think about time in relation to money, and how you could use some of your time to expand upon your talents and skills in ways that can make money. If you like to write for instance, you might use some of your free time getting into making money with your writing online. If you play guitar fabulously, you might offer lessons. If you can make it fun as well as profitable, you are on the way to a winning solution!

Little Things Help You Save Money

Once when I was in college I wanted to go on a trip I had no idea how to afford. Each night when I came home, I dumped all the change from my purse and pockets into a piggy bank. I made it a game. Soon I started adding any leftover singles, too. It was a little hard to be disciplined about it, but I really wanted to go on that trip. I focused more on my goal, and printed a picture of the place I wanted to be and set it in a frame next to the piggy bank, which I started having to empty as it overflowed. Just my pocket change wasn't enough on it's own,but over a few months it made a HUGE difference. Not long after that I was standing in Oxford, England.

You can do it, too. Start by thinking about what things you'd really like to have some money for. Include your needs, but also what excites and inspires you. :-)

Create Positive Affrimations About Bringing More Money Into Your Life

Psychologists say affirming the possibility of goals helps us to accieve them!

I may be a spiritual person, but I suggest this more for psychological reasons than because of some kind of hokey mystical magical secret.

We are constantly bombarded by negative messages about money. "Money isn't everything" ( it's not ) "People who are obsessed with money are shallow" (they can be ) People are too materialistic, they forget the important things in life." ( Some of them do. )

There are good reasons to consider things like that, however they can lead to self-sabotage in your subconscious mental picture about having money. If you think that money makes people shallow and you're a nice person, part of you won't want you to have a good financial situation. It's that simple. Who wants to be shallow, greedy, materialistic, and focused on the wrong things in life?

The thing is that these same thoughts can be put to better use. Money isn't everything, but it allows you to do things you want to do and take care of yourself and the people you love. There's nothing shallow about that. Money is a tool. It doesn't make you a good person or a bad person. What you do with the tool might, but it's your choices and actions that motivate that- not the actual cash. You have to have the cash to get to see for yourself what choices you'd make. If you're a basically good person, you'll probably use it in beneficial ways- at which point having money is a good thing.

You can create and use your own affirmations about money to help dispel your negative thoughts and attune your conscious and subconscious efforts to creating the abundance you need and want in your life. Here are a few examples:
.
  1. Money comes to me with more and more ease as I work towards my goals.
  2. My finances are improving and allowing me to bring what I want into my life.
  3. I make good choices about money that help me to benifit my life and the lives of others I care about.
  4. I can make more money.
  5. It's okay that money makes me smile, as I have more and more financial stability my life improves in more important ways.
  6. I am willing to finally have the prosperity I need and want in my life.

Do you Squidoo?

One way I make money is writing pages like these, about anything I want.

There are a lot of different places I write online. This is a Squidoo page, and an example of one way you can make money online. It take a while to build a good collection of pages and get people visiting, but it's possible to make very good money with this site if you put yourself into it. Some people make enough that they actually pay their rent and bills with their income from Squidoo. I'm not at that point myself, but I hope to be someday not to far from now.

You can build Squidoo pages on virtually anything you want, and there are quite a variety of ways to make money with it. Some people design coffee mugs and products using thier photos and art on cafe press, and then use these pages to promote their work. Some people do reviews of books and movies they love, and add links so that people who are interested can buy those things from well known and trusted sites like Amazon. Depending on how well a page ranks, you can also earn money based on it's popularity. You can create as many pages as you want, and have complete control over them. This allows you to entertain, inform, have a good time sharing your knowledge and skills, -and- make money.

Here's a guy that knows what he's doing!

This guy is brilliant. He's funny, entertaining, graceful- and created Squidoo. I'm suspecting he makes enough to have a little extra! He has some really great cutting edge ideas about money, doing buisness, marketing, and having fun with it. I'd definitely recommend checking out his books.

Very well said and written. I really liked how you saved your change and painted the picture and placed it by your piggy bank. I love saving change, one time I saved enough money to pay for part of a vacation I went on (A pretty big part, I might add), so that theory works good.

Just what we need to highlight. The fear or dislike of money drives it away. Like the list you put up there on what money can do for us. I will include this in my lens simple steps in a money makeover.
