This sports drama produced by Scott Rudin, directed by Bennett Miller and written by West WIng's Aaron Sorkin and Steven Zaillian (Schindler's List, American Gangster) is based on the true story about Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane who turned baseball on end by using computer aided statistical analysis to draft players.
Moneyball stars Brad Pitt, Robin Wright, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Jonah Hill as the computer whiz in this inspirational story which was released in theaters September 23, 2011.

The Natural
If you had to take a stab at naming your favorite baseball movie ever, what would you choose? The first movie for me that comes to mind is Barry Levinson's The Natural with Robert Redford, Glenn Close, Kim Basinger, Wilford Brimley, Barbara Hershey, Richard Farnsworth and Robert Duvall for its terrific story, great acting and wonderful iconic music.
