PTC Sites
Simple thing to do if you ever have just a few minutes extra during the day and want a little extra cash in your pocket. Most of these pay you through Alertpay, which is a lot like paypal. There are a few that pay with Paypal, but if you are really interested in signing up with these, then you should open an Alertpay account (its free).
If you are just getting started with the PTC sites, I suggest you choose a few that are known to pay. You don't want to waste your time with scams. I have personally reviewed more than 50, and have had quite a few that have paid and others that were not so legit. To see the reviews, view my other lens Here (it will open in a new window)

To get the most out of PTC sites, join about 5 and click everyday. If you trust them, go ahead and purchase referrals. Most of the time it is really worth it. If you have more extra time in the day, join ten. Your earnings will grow in no time. PTC sites are a perfect way to earn a little or (with investment) a lot of extra cash.
Sites that pay you to take surveys
There are a lot of sites that tell you that they pay you ridiculous amounts of money to take surveys and then you go to take one and it asks you to complete all these offers and sign up for credit cards. Nobody likes those. However, there are actually some sites that really will pay you to take surveys. I use these just about everyday. The amount of money they pay you for each survey ranges from $.50 to $5 most of the time, but I have received a few for much larger amounts. The amount that you get depends on how long the survey is. I have created another lens that lists the survey sites that have paid me. I use more sites than are on that list, but I do not want to promote them until I know that they will pay. To view the Survey Sites that have paid me, please click hereThere are several sites out there that want you to pay them to give you a list of the top paying survey sites. Don't waste your money on this. You can easily find the ones that pay with a little searching and by visiting pages like the one that I created.
Sites That Pay You to Socialize/Pay You to Post
There are a few sites that I know of that pay you just to socialize. These are Mylot, Yuwie, and Frenszone.Mylot
Mylot is a questions/answers type of forum. If you have ever used Yahoo Answers, then this is as close to it as you can get. It is different though and if you are used to using another type of answers place, then this one will take some adjusting to get used to. However, you will find that the people here are extremely helpful and nice.
Mylot pays you per question you ask or response that you give to a question. You get between $.01-$.03 per response, depending on the length and quality of your answer. You also get paid for posting images that go with your discussion or interest. One of the good things about Mylot is that you can comment on the responses, giving you the opportunity to have an actual conversation (and get paid for it!).
The payout for Mylot is $10, but you can raise it if you would like. They pay monthly through either Paypal or Moneybookers, depending on where you live. You have to reach the minimum payout by the end of the month to be paid on the 15th of the following month. If you do not reach payout, your earnings will rollover to the next month until you do reach payout.
To get the most out of mylot, it is important to add friends and interests. Also, when asking a question be sure to ask it in the specific interest. Never post a "general discussion". Not many people will find it and you may not get a good number of responses. If you post a top discussion with a lot of responses, you will earn more for it.
Frenszone I am new to frenszone, but it seems like it might be promising. It is easy to make friends here and everyone is pretty talkative. With this site, you earn points in over 20 different ways, including uploading a photo, making a blog post, commenting on profiles, and when people view your profile. Your points are redeemable for prizes and cash. The current prizes (October 15) are an Apple iPhone, Sony Ericsson T250i, Sony Ericsson W200i, 3.0" TFT LCD Display, and a Slim Digital Camera. Even if you have no need for these products, you can sell them easily on somewhere like ebay or give them as a nice gift.
This seems to be a promising site. The only thing about it though is that a lot of the people are from Countries like Indonesia and Malaysia. There are still some from the U.S., just not as many. This is a fairly new site and not many people know of it yet. This can give you a good chance to get to know other people and their cultures.

GPT Sites
InboxDollars

This site is really great. It pays you for the following:
Reading Email
Shopping
Taking Surveys
Completing Offers
Playing Games
They even give you a $5 sign up bonus. The paid emails are worth about $.02-$.03 apiece and you receive a fairly good amount everyday. This is mostly what I use this site for. All you have to do is click the link in the email and you got an instant $.02-$.03 in your account. It really adds up. You can request payment after your account has reached $30. They pay by check. Also, everytime I shop online, I click through them to get cash back. This, with the use of a coupon/promotional code can add up to great savings.
SendEarnings

I'm not sure if it is a clone of Inboxdollars, or if they are operated by the same administrators, but this site is exactly like Inboxdollars. I use it only for the paid emails. All the other features that it has, I do on Inboxdollars.
CreationsRewards
CreationsRewards is one of my favorite sites to go to. They give you points for activities including:
Taking Surveys
Visiting Websites
Daily Trivia
Completing Offers
Entering Sweepstakes
Reading Email
Signing up for Newsletters
Shopping
This site has two surveys available for you to take everyday. Each of them is worth 110 points. Your points can be redeemed for either money (through paypal/check) or giftcards. For $5 through paypal, you have to earn 1000 points. So if all you do is take your daily surveys, then you will make a little over $1 a day. I have been paid 6 times by them already. Sites that Pay you to Blog
Sites That Pay You to Write Articles
Ehow
Usually everytime I need to know how to do something, google directs me to Ehow where I learn step by step. I always loved Ehow articles, but I never knew that you could be paid for doing them.
If you have never visited Ehow, it is a site comprised of "How to" articles. You can learn how to do just about anything that you want. If you want to write for them, you can write about anything that you want. It can be completely random, but as long as it is good quality you can get paid for it. The pay rate is not publically known, but the more articles that you have and the more they are getting visited then the more profit you will see from them. In the site's FAQ, they say that your article's earning potential can be based on a combination of several elements, including the amount of times it's been viewed and its category and that the more useful your articles are to the reader, the more money you could make. These articles are very easy to do. Even if you are a busy person, then you will be able to write at least one a week.
One of the best things about Ehow is that you get paid continously. Other article writing sites usually pay you just once for your article and you never see anything else from it. Depending on the popularity of your ehow instructional article, you can earn money from each one every month. Ehow articles rank pretty high in google, so there is really no reason that you shouldn't get traffic to your article.
To earn the most from ehow, you should add friends and be active in the community. Also, the more original your how-to article is, the more traffic it is likely to get. Ehow gives you plenty of tips to make the most from your articles.
This site pays through paypal each month, with a minimum payout of $10.

Bukisa
This is a fairly new site that is quickly becoming popular. It is similar to ehow, except you can submit content about anything that you want. You can post it in the form of an article, video, audio, or slide show.
This is a great site for those looking for passive income. It is much easier to earn here than on other sites, mostly because you actually know how you get paid. Ehow on the other hand doesn't give you a clear explanation on how your earnings are calculated. For bukisa, you are paid by the amount of visitors that visit your content. There is a "bukisa index" that is shown on the home page of the site. This number tells you how much you earn per every 1000 people to read your article. The current bukisa index is 3.95 (12/03/08). Your article also has an embed code on it so that it can easily be published on other websites to help you earn more money.
The Bukisa Index is updated at least once per month based upon the overall performance of the websites revenue streams - this involves the following: Contextual advertising, Banner advertising, email marketing, joint ventures and more.
The minimun for payout is $50, which might seem a bit high but it is quite possible to reach within a month. The more articles you write, the more earning potential you have.

Associated Content

I recently just started with this site, but I am already enjoying the experience. It is unlike most paid to write sites because it offers both an upfront payment and performance payments. This means that you get paid a larger sum of money up front and then the article will continue to earn a few cents a month depending on how much you market it. The current performance pay rate is $1.50 for 1000 views. It is less than Bukisa, but the upfront payment makes it worth it. The better the article, the more the upfront payment will be. I don't really have much to compare, but my first article was worth about four dollars. The length and quality of your article will make it worth more.
One big surprise that I found and I really enjoy about associated content is that you don't have to wait until the end of the month to get paid. As soon as they approve your article and make you an offer, your upfront payment is deposited straight into your paypal account within a week. It can take them a few days to approve the article though. So basically, you get paid within two weeks of writing an article. The minimum payout to be paid for the performance payments is $1.50, one of the lowest payouts I've seen anywhere.
I haven't been with this site for very long, but it has been around for a couple of years and I have only heard good things about it. I've already been paid by them and plan to continue to write for them. If you join, please read my articles and message me through their site and I will read yours as well. Sites That Pay You to Write Reviews
This is a very unique opportunity for those of you that are just getting into the online money making business. You get paid to simply write reviews for products that you use or have used in the past. It does not take long to write a review and you get $1 per review written (limited time promotion) plus $.01 everytime someone reads your review and $.03 everytime someone comments on your review. The payout is $5. Very nice and easy way to earn a little extra money. All you need is your opinion.
The $1 per review is a limited time promotion. I would suggest that everyone interested in making money online should take advantage of it. It is not difficult at all and takes less than 10 minutes per review. I do suggest that if you do write reviews for Ciao, that you write quality reviews so not to hurt the site and cause them to have to lower the earnings for members.
There are what you call remuneration for reviews written on products featured on Ciao. There are three levels, and each can be distinguished by the number of dollar sign beside the name of the product. Level 1 gets a cent for every rating, Level 2 gets two cents and Level 3 gets three cents. There are also extra rewards for writing the first review for a product. You earn a bonus equal to the renumeration of the product.
Payments for Ciao are made every month. You must request payment by the end of the month and then you are paid by the 15th of the following month.
Update 11/07/08
The $1 per review promotion is now over. The pay rate per review is now $.25.
Creating Your Own Website/Blog
The first thing that you need to do when creating your own site or blog is to figure out what interests you and if you have enough information/opinion on it to actually create something.
Blog or Website?
If you are trying to decide whether to create a blog or website, it is important to really think about what you want to do with it. If you have a lot of great ideas and features that you want to add or if you want a membership site, then obviously creating a website would be better for you. If your thoughts are scattered or you don't have much planned but information, then blogging would probably be the better choice. If you have a lot of information, however, a website would be easier to organize.
If you choose to create a website, then it is important to find a good webhost. I personally use Ipower . They have the greatest support that I have ever experienced. Everytime I ask a question, I receive a detailed response within a few hours. I do not recommend signing up with a free webhost if you are really serious. You get what you pay for.
Also, don't worry if you don't know much about web design. Most webhosts give you some kind of site builder you can use, so you don't really need to know anything about HTML or MySQL. However, if you do know a little about web design, your site could look more creative and you may be able to do things a little quicker. To see an example of a site built with a site builder, click here. It is a site that I am working on.
How to Make Money?
Ok, after you have created your site/blog then you will want to try to gain a little money from it. There are basically two ways to do this: Selling Products (either yours or through affiliate programs) and Getting Paid by Advertisers (Such as google adsense).
It is not hard to find affiliates or advertisers. This part is as simple as searching for the products that you want to sell and signing up for their affiliate programs. Some sites have strict affiate guidelines, but most do not. LinkShare.com
The hardest part, after everything is done, is getting targeted visitors to your website/blog. You have to have a lot of sites linking to yours to appear high in the search engines. Creating backlinks is not hard, but getting quality backlinks can be a little difficult. If you really want to succeed, this part requires you to work hard. You can hire someone who specializes in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to help your site, but this could be costly.
Tips if you are creating a website
Remember when choosing your that it will be the permanent address of your site. The domain needs to be easy for your visitors to remember and be easy to look at it and know what your site is about. Also, strange spelling of words may hurt your traffic.
Be careful when placing advertisements on your site. Google frowns upon sites that are mainly ads.
