Part One of the Mongol Trilogy by Sergei Bodrov
Soon to hit theaters on June 6th. This is the story of Genghis Khan. This starts out with how a very young boy becomes the leader of the Mongols.
Genghis Khan might not be as bad as I thought.
I never learned a lot about Genghis Khan. But from what I can remember I learned he was a ruthless nomadic tyrant that quickly took over the land.
Well after seeing the trailer for the film I am having second thoughts. He had an extremely difficult upbringing. His father was poisoned, the tribes around him were always in conflict and his own tribe abandoned him. He went from nothing to leading the largest empire ever. He obviously must have had some good qualities too.

Great Movie but Hard to find
I had to go into Boston in order to see the movie. For some reason or another it just wasn't playing in any of the closer theaters. It was a great epic with beatiful landscapes and lots of action. It was great seeing What made Genghis Khan into one of the greatest leaders of all time.
The movie is now available to rent and own.

- I have never heard of Genghis Khan. Now I know more than I did a minute ago. I also raised three boys. I have two grandsons and life is good. I wish you great success in the lens world.
