Who is Monica Hemingway

Monica Hemingway is an Organic Land Care Consultant, Gardening Coach, and Garden Designer located in Stamford, CT. She is the President of GardenPlansOnline, operates Connecticut Garden Coach, and is the Curator of the Butterfly Garden at the New Canaan Nature Center. Monica is a graduate of the Environmental Gardening program at the New York Botanical Garden and has also studied at the Chicago Botanical Garden and the Morton Arboretum. She publishes a monthly gardening newsletter called 'In the Garden', writes the Garden Junkies blog, and runs a gardening information website called The Gardeners' List. In her 'spare time', Monica is a Director in a management consulting firm. She has a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and worked with Fortune 500 companies for 15 years before moving into gardening as a full-time career.
