- I was monitoring my blood pressure with an at-home device. It was interesting to see the wide scale of variance in the readings. I always wanted to drop by the drug store for a second opinion on my BP.

- I have a wrist monitor, but don't use it as often as I should. I've had high blood pressure since I was in Jr. High!

- Happens earlier and earlier. I've had it since my 20s -- you don't have to be overweight and in poor health to get it.
