Monk is one of cable's top crime dramas. It follows the adventures of ex-detective Adrian Monk who has quite a few anxieties due to his wife's murder. Even though he is scared of a lot of things, he is a brilliant private investigator.
Monk airs Fridays on the USA Network.

An all-new season of MONK premieres Friday, July 7 in a new time slot: 9/8C! In the season premiere, Stanley Tucci plays a famous actor preparing to play Monk in a movie. But when he gets a little too close to one of Monk's real-life murder investigations, Monk steps in to clean up the mess.

Adrian Monk: This ex-detective is scared of almost everything but always finds a way to solve even the best planned murders.Natalie Teeger (Seasons 3+): Monk hand-picked this former bartender as his newest nurse/assistant after Sharona left town.
Leland Stottlemeyer: The captain of San Francisco's police department.
Randy Disher: Stottlemeyer's deputy is the dumb one of the group who comes up with wacky theories.
Sharona Fleming (Seasons 1-3): Before she left the show, Sharona was Monk's nurse/assistant. She was much tougher on Monk than Natalie is.
Dr. Kroger: Monk's psychiatrist.
