Who is Mr. Adrian Monk
Ranked #9,832 in Entertainment, #121,804 overall
Adrian Monk, the obsessive compulsive detective
Monk is a crime drama, created by Andy Breckman. It stars Tony Shalhoub as Adrian Monk, a San Francisco detective diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder.
The show debuted on July 12, 2002, on the USA Network. It is said to be a mystery series, although I find Monk's continuous antics to be downright comical.
Now where did I put those wipes?
Farewell Monk
The Final Season

Since its premiere in 2002, fans have been in love with Adrian Monk, the quirky police consultant on the popular USA Network dramady "Monk." Each season, fans see him overcome his fear of everything and use his power of observation to solve crimes in Greater San Francisco.
After the summer of 2009, fans will have to buy the DVD's or watch reruns on USA because he will solve his last crime. According to TV.com, USA Network plans to give the show a proper send off, with 16 episodes to bid farewell.
It's sad that such a good show is about to leave television. On the other hand, it's better to go while you are on top rather than wait until the show is only a shadow of itself.
We will all miss Adrian Monk, - let's hope the ending will be an appropriate conclusion to this wonderful series.

Monk to Clean Up His Final Murder Case in 2009
Monks' Assistants
Sharona or Natalie?

Monk's phobias and anxiety disorders make him depend on personal assistants, who drive him around, do his shopping, and always carry an extra supply of wipes for him. They also take an active role in organizing his consultancy work, and sometimes investigate cases themselves.
Being Monk's assistant isn't all fun and games. So far there have only been two women up for the job; Natalie Teeger and Sharona Fleming.
After all, everyone knows that there are two things Monk can't live without; his wipes and his assistant.
