Money d Luffy

luffy ate the Gomu Gomu fruit and became a rubber man. As his name suggests Luffy is much like a monkey but he's got the will of 'D' that helps him a lot :) At first it was hard to believe that Luffy was actually the captain of the super cool straw hats crew but now after having seen his spirit, determination and power we've come to learn that luffy is much more than just a silly, day dreaming kid (as most would call him). Plus now that he's got a bounty of 400,000,000 beli (300,000,000 beli in the present anime) ! People would just start to tremble by his name.

Most powerful lead character in anime

We've watched lots of anime series all with ridiculously strong main characters but what if they were stacked up against each other i.e an inter-anime duel who would win ?

Luffy is the Pirate captain of the Straw hats in One Piece. As a kid he became inspired by the 'Pirate King' Gold D Roger from then on it has been his dream to become the Pirate King himself and discover One Piece the great treasure left behind by the former Pirate King. Luffy has progressed far in the series and has now become a recognized threat by the Navy. He's become renowned in the world as Straw hat.

Luffy's Appearance

Luffy is renowned for wearing his trademark Straw Hat (from which he gets his nickname "Straw Hat Luffy") which was lent to him when he was young by the legendary pirate captain, "Red-Haired Shanks." His outfit somewhat mimics Shanks' own outfit in that he wears short pants (although his are much shorter than Shanks') along with sandals and a vest. Luffy has a scar with 2 stitches underneath his eye (he got it in Chapter 1) and short black hair. He appears to be somewhat scrawny, however underneath his shirt he has a surprisingly well built physique.
