Vampire Fashion Doll By Mattel
Draculaura is one of the fashion dolls from Mattel and is one of the main characters of Monster High. Introduced in 2010, these dolls that give a new theme to fashion dolls are really a hit with the little girls.
Our granddaughter has the Draculaura doll and I am amazed at the detail incorporated in the doll. I love the big eyes and the funky hair. I also love the idea of teaching young girls that there is nothing wrong with being a little different.

A Cool Ghoul At School
Well,she lives a vegetarian vampire lifestyle. Draculaura is known to be hemophobic, she is unable to even say the word "blood" without feeling faint. She turns sweet 1600 years old this year, according to her bio. The doll and character have pale pink skin, protruding fangs and she reminds us of Bela Legosi in the film Dracula from 1931. Her ears are pointed and elf-like and she looks great in her punk-style clothing. She is a poet at heart and loves creative writing. Like traditional vampires, this fashion doll character does not have a reflection. Her pet bat, named Count Fabulous, is dressed in a small pink jumper and large bow.
