Just for fun: A St. Patrick's Day Debate!

Most people aren't just so-so about their corned beef and cabbage. They either love it or they really don't. How do you feel about this traditional St. Patrick's Day treat?

Corned Beef and Cabbage: Love it or Leave it?

Loading

Love it!

AnnaleeBlysse says:

Had some on this St. Patrick's Day!

awelldressedbullet says:

total yumminess

flinnie says:

Hi sound good to me.

Centavo says:

Great with green beer!

savenlives says:

like the corned beef but yuck to the cabbage!

LaraineRose says:

Love it. We don't wait for St. Patrick's Day to have it. It is a staple at our home.

charlino says:

Love it. I make mine from scratch every year.

Swisstoons says:

Hard to beat corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots and a glass of Guinness!

KonaGirl says:

I love eating it, but it is not traditional for our family. My Grandmother's St. Patrick day dish was Lamb Shanks stewed in stout

happynutritionist says:

I couldn't imagine St. Patrick's day without a traditional dinner of corned beef and cabbage!! We loved every bite! I'd be a "goophead" (my security word) if I didn't like it!

bethd821 says:

And it's easy to make!

Pastiche says:

Love a good Irish boiled dinner, aye.

Alfiesgirl says:

I have yet to try corned beef n cabbage, although I have tasted & do like the Irish version of corned-beef. But...I love boiled-bacon n cabbage which, is what I usually serve up on St Patricks Day yummy xx

prosperity66 says:

As long as it's not canned corned beef; which is absolutely disgusting, I'm taking both corned beef and cabbage, of course! Happy Saint Paddy's!

poddys says:

I had never heard of this in the UK, but when I moved to South Bend, Indiana, home of Notre Dame and the Fighting Irish, well you couldn't get away from green beer and corned beef and cabbage. Yes, I like it, I love traditional dishes to celebrate different holidays.

Leave it!

scarlettohairy says:

No thank you. Ick.

WhimsicalWatters says:

I am a vegetarian. If there was a vegetarian alternative I would try it though. Ha ha ha.

Deeksha says:

Love to eat cabbage but not beef...

NoobWriter says:

I hate vegetables

Titia says:

I don't like corned beef, but I guess I can replace that with my own sheep meat. I do like cabbage though, but I never cook cabbage. I slice it and then I bake it in some olive oil, till it gets soft. Much more tastefuller to eat and faster to make it. If we have the 'white' cabbage I put some raisins in there while baking. Don't know if baking is the right word.

TylaMac says:

I don't eat beef. I did have a veggie version with tofu once that was pretty good, though.

charmilbrettdotcom says:

if the corned beef is sliced thin.. the cabbage is turned into sauerkraut... there's a little swiss cheese, Thousand Island and mustard... maybe.. but, corned beef and cooked cabbage ... sorry. No.

tiff0315 says:

Yuck!

meetmarkmakeup says:

No thanks!

Heather426 says:

I like Irish Cream liquor, does that count?

KimGiancaterino says:

I'll take the Irish coffee!

genglo says:

I'm with Spook. Skip the beef, pass the Irish Coffee!

hlkljgk says:

leave it - we opt for the vegetarian boiled dinner. or vegetarian sheherd's pie. mmm...

MissMerFaery says:

Hmm, cabbage is ok, not so keen on the corned beef. I'm with Spook also, although I'd say pass the Irish cream liqueur, myself!!

louiswery says:

I agree with Spook!

Spook says:

Quite simply, pass, now pass the Irish coffee.

GrowWear says:

Cabbage only for me, thanks. But, in its defense, I've never had it homemade with all the love cooked in. :)

Waxing-Lyrical says:

I'll leave it!!

MarianaFargasch says:

leave it, sorry. Corned Beef and Cabbage just don't agree well with me! Happy St. Pattys Day!! :)) Congratz on the lens!

Happy St. Patrick's Day
