Everyone has a hobby. What's yours?

I just love having a hobby. At some point in my life I have been an avid cross stitcher, game collector, star gazer and beachcomber.

Hobbies are so relaxing and a fun way to escape the daily grind. Squidoo lensmasters are some of the most passionate hobbyists I've met and they have a lot of knowledge to share.

    I have too many hobbies....picture framing, cross stitch, punched tin, woodworking, photography, genealogy, painting, golf, etc, etc, etc,.

    I have a lens on Chain Maille. It is the art of knitting metal rings....you see it in medieval movis all the time as armour. It is a very hard but satisfying hobby! Try it!!!

    I have developed a daily habbit of wathing my kids play outside on their swingset (I got it from http://www.gorillaplaysets.com/ ) I go out there and read while they run around. I sit in the adult size babysitter swing, and get to relax. The weather is nice in the south.

    I design my own handbags by knitting with wool yarn and felting. We also have model trains, my husband does lapidary and silversmith and all of this is in between our national motorcycle ministry. We are very busy people, so hobbies force us to relax! Blessings.

    I love water colour painting, one of the main reasons apart from being relaxing is the unexpected results you get once you mix the paint on the paper.
