A MonsterBoard featuring some of the BEST-OF Squidoo's Horrifying Halloween Lenses

What was that?

That's the sound of your own heart beating as you read through this Best-Of MonsterBoard filled with Halloween Horror lenses written by lensmasters who delight in fright.

Halloween is the perfect time for things that go bump on a dark and stormy night and the following lenses will have you hearing things that don't exist. Or do they? Only the shadow knows and he's not talking because dead men tell no tales.

Scared yet? Oh, I see. You think you don't scare easily. In that case, read through each of the following lenses to find ghastly ghost tales, frightening follies, and other super scary stuff perfect for reading by Jack O Lantern light.

Enter these frightfully fun lenses at your own risk and when you find yourself later on tonight covered in goosebumps, cowering under the covers with your teddy bear glued to your chest, don't say we didn't warn you!

Beware! The following lenses will scare you silly.

Spooky, spellbinding and spectacular!

For the SquidHauntings SquidQuest we asked our lensmasters to create lenses of horrific proportions filled with spine-tingling supernatural spookiness, and they didn't disappoint. (Then again, do they ever?)

Here at the Dark and Stormy Night MonsterBoard we've collected the best of those terrible tales of tension and terror along with some others that we found by way of the Best of Halloween 2011 SquidBoo Challenge and featured them here for your viewing pleasure. Lock all the doors and windows. Turn up the lights, and enjoy!

Please Note!!!

Due to a glitch, some of the earliest entries into the SquidHauntings SquidQuest are missing from this MonsterBoard.

If you submitted a spooky lens, (not related to Halloween costumes, recipes, parties, or decorations - those have their own MonsterBoards) Please send the link to robin@squidoo.com so that we can add your bloodcurdling best to this page. Thanks!
