Squidoo Virtual Jenga: A community quest

You might be familiar with Jenga. It's a stacking game played with wood blocks that has been around since the 70's. It's fun to see how tall your tower can get.

The word Jenga means "to build" in Swahili, and we thought that was fitting for lensmasters, for people who build remarkable pages on Squidoo.

Virtual Jenga, which we kind of invented for our own purposes, is a community lens stacking game that's being played at the SquidU forum. The goal is to see how many lenses we can stack, together. The more lenses the group stacks up consecutively, the better everyone's chances at winning. Because if the community stacks 50 lenses successfully, everyone who participated gets a trophy.

But here's the challenge: You have to do it without the tower collapsing. It crumbles if someone doesn't make the lens he or she was supposed to before the deadline. If someone requests a lens of you, and you don't make that lens and post it to the Jenga thread within 48 hours, the tower falls and the stack resets back to 0.

We've completed our goal of 50 stacked lenses in a row, so we created this monsterboard to celebrate everyone who has built on this shared success.
