Mont Blanc Pens
Like most of my my lenses I am aiming to use my years of working in big business and living the lifestyle that goes with it to inform others of the pitfalls of buying luxury goods. I hope you enjoy your new luxury purchases. This lense is all about Mont Blanc pens... to my mind the greatest writing instruments in the world.

Some Pitfalls To Avoid
1. If buying a new Mont Blanc bite the bullet and pay the extra to get it from a proper retailer.2. If the deal offered is too good to be true it probably is.
3. Fountain pens need to be cleaned and maintained. Also only use good ink, cheap stuff will mess them up.
4. Vintage Mont Blanc pens are beautiful and valuable. However they are often faked, be careful on ebay.
5. The limited edition pens are not always great investments. Many people I know have paid huge sums to aquire them new and then have found them almost impossible to sell second hand. Only buy a limited edition if the styling is "safe" and will appeal to a lot of people.
6. Most finishes on Mont Blanc pens are fairly delicate. The resin finish is prone to scuffing. The metal finishes are of course prone to scratches and can tarnish. Take good care of your pens to ensure long life and if it applies maximum resale value.
