The new 16-Ton Megaset release makes room to include Monty Python Live along with the original 14 DVDs of Flying Circus episodes by using slim cases instead of standard size keepsake cases.

Although this is often referred to as "The Best of Monty Python's Flying Circus", these are actually new performances of tried and true bits from the show. The skits were re-shot in widescreen for release on the big screen. The Pythons used different camera angles and, in some cases, different dialogue.

This 2-DVD set includes the 1982 Hollywood Bowl performance, Live at Aspen, the 20 Years of Python special, and 1 of the 2 "lost" Flying Circus episodes made for German TV.
