Mood Ring Colors Explained

Last week I was together with my daughter in the Chinese shop on the central Avenue in the city nearby our home.
We discovered a big tray with mood rings, and sure, we did buy two, one for each of us. I love to wear the same jewelry as her, the same colors, the same t-shirts, and as long as she likes it too, I am really indulging myself into the same stuff, whenever there is a possibility!

When we drove back home, she asked me how these mood rings actually work, and I told her as much as I knew.

The actual "stone" in a mood ring is a crystal, which reacts to temperature. When we are angry, our body temperature is much higher than when we are calm for example, and with a mood ring we have an easy way to track our body temperature changes.

Mood Ring No. 3 with Gift Box

Remember the Mood Rings from the 1970's? Well, THEY ARE BACK! Rings change color based on the temperature of your finger. Hot fingers are good, cold are bad. Rings come with a slip of paper explaining each color it turns and what mood you are in based on that color.
Each ring is ADJUSTABLE (ring can be opened at bottom to be made bigger, closed more to be made smaller.)

This comes in a beautiful gift box.

The colors... and their meanings

With our rings, we got a small chart explaining the colors. it looks like this:

personal development

I started searching on Google more on the subject, another list of meanings is this:

* Dark blue: Happy, romantic or passionate
* Blue: Calm or relaxed
* Blue-green: Somewhat relaxed
* Green: Normal or average
* Amber: A little nervous or anxious
* Gray: Very nervous or anxious
* Black: Stressed, tense or feeling harried

Outside Temperature

Obviously, when the outside or room temperature fluctuates, your ring will also show different colors. I think it is more of a toy, and some of the design are really very good looking. Look at this one, with a dolphin...

I love dolphins.

When I was browsing the internet, I found some interesting stories and facts about colors. It is not only that colors show which mood you are in, but even stronger is that colors do influence your mood. You can take tests to see which color personality type you are, and you can also use the real science of colors influencing your power and emotional stability.
