Monty's First Trip with Betty to a Horse Show

Saturday was Monty's first trip to a Horse Show.

Betty left her sassy dress's at home and pulled on those blue jeans for the Sat. Horse Show. Monty watch'd with awe as Betty and her daughter cleaned, brushed, painted hooves and greased the nose and eyes of their horse for the Showmanship class. Monty was sure they had lost their mind.

Monty was mighty glad he was not a horse. He did't want all that paint and grease on him!

He sat in the stand's with Betty as her daughter went through her class. Now that was fun!... He was up above the horses and people, looking down on their sillyness. He sniffed the people and dogs as they went by, as if to say,

"Hello! I'm Monty and you can't believe what my people pets did to that Horse.. "

Twelve Hours later Monty was a very tired Pup. Betty put his new little warm fuzzy coat on him from their AVON store at http://bmoore1094.avonrepresentative.com/

and he snuggled up in her lap to rest. He was sure all this was fun, but he was aweful tired. Eating hamburger's and left over's that dropped was fun. Watching everyone from above in the stands was very cool. (made him feel big) But nighttime was bedtime and so he should be in bed......

Betty agreed and home they went, with Monty perched on the console of the truck. But, not watching the traffic as usual, curled up sound asleep. Its hard work going to these shows. Whew!

Great riders are not great because of their technique: but because of their passion.

And so it goes with all of us......
