Military Morale Patches

The military isn't always a fun place. So God gave the world MORALE PATCHES

Functional, humorous, funny, downright rude and insulting. The military has a very special niche of humour to help cope with the bad times and this is reflected none better than in morale patches. The following lens gives you an insight to military humour and shows how you can get in on it.

Warning: Some patches may contain heavy language

History of Morale Patches

It gets lonely in the desert!!The idea of having morale patches extends from World War II. Initially units would have patches that designated their nationality and sometimes unit. Some famous patches include the US 101st Airborne that was made popular by such movies as Band Of Brothers

The first occurrence of patches being used for Morale was at the start of the 21st Century with the beginning of the Second Iraq War. During this conflict both Air Force and Army units started to adopt patches that were humorous. From this point they took off, and now there are multiple companies that design and sell these patches to lighten the situation and give soliders a laugh.

Going to be honest...You should buy these :P
