Generate "more sure traffic"

You don't have to be an expert to get started

By Laura Dobbins
Most of the top marketing gurus today are using the following four concepts to boost "sure traffic" to their business sites:

1. Strong list building
2. Funded proposals
3. Aping proven methods
4. Smart product and service choices

But you don't have to be an expert to master these ideas. It is however easier if you can learn from those who have already succeeded. It will cost less time and money in the long run if you team with experts who can coach you to "more sure traffic" opposed to the trial and errors you will encounter on your own.

It isn't impossible though. So let's get started.

Generate "more sure traffic"

"List building" is the first step

List building:
The power and money is in your list. You can never have enough customers. The more people on your address book, the higher your sales. But how can you establish a list, especially if starting with zero entries in your address book?
There are a few concepts widely used today. Many people signup on traffic exchange or safelist websites.
Another method, and one I recommend, is teaming with established online businesses that include these tools as part of their programs. There are a lot of good online opportunities, you have to research which one will best fit your needs.

Don't reinvent, use "proven methods"

Now, let's take a look at step two of four I have outlined to help you get "more sure traffic."

Funded proposal
In the funded proposal you complete a sale with your prospect before offering them your main merchandise. For example, you see a lot of sites offering e-books or some type of software to potential customers. The idea is to get these prospects to buy the informational merchandise in hopes that these same people will also buy into the company's main proposal. But whether a prospect buys or not, a future buyer has been added to the company's list.

Remember more visitors to your site means "more sure traffic" and "more sure traffic" starts with a good list.

So that brings us to step three, duplicating proven methods.
If you find something that works, why reinvent it? Use it over and over again. If you are trying different plans on your own, it will take a lot of trial and error to determine which processes work best for you.
Some people use free advertising such as traffic exchange programs to try and generate "more sure traffic." Others utilize public forums, article writing and blogging. Advertising in local papers, passing out flyers or going door to door are other practices used by business people trying to generate "more sure traffic."

Generate more "sure traffic"

Find a "good product"

Finally, you need a good product to sell.
How do you find that? There are a number of products online produced by top companies. These businesses will pay you a commission to advertise and sell their merchandise. There are also some MLM ventures that will charge monthly membership fees to allow you to do the same - you pitch their product and get others to join the membership list and in return you make a profit.
Each of these business opportunities can be financially rewarding but if you don't know what you are doing, you can also go broke. That's why I recommend teaming with people who already know what they are doing.

However, you can choose to venture on your own and still be successful. If you follow the steps outlined here, you too can start generating more "sure traffic."
